Where it is real F ing COLD
Well glad you are safe. I have 2 vehicles and my corolla would get stuck on a banana peel if it wasn't for the sanding, plowing etc. Wishing you some warmer weather soon to get back to normal

Very sad situation and equally disappointing for us trying to get to Vegas. Missed flight. Can't get out of neighborhood, temps staying below freezing through tomorrow late, flights backed up for rescheduling, etc. Regardless, have got to be back for Monday Regional meetings at 8AM, so may not be worth going out for just 2.5 days there if we can get pout by Friday. . Very bummed. I-285 and 75 toward airport a ghost town even still. Oh well, not meant to be. :nooo:

Dude, I hate this for ya.

Warmer weather awaits in Vegas. Hope things clear up for you.:0008:0008

Problem is it is ice. Period. Very hilly area I am in by Stone Mountain. Irony is it will be back in the 60's and 70 by Saturday. UGH!!! 26 degrees outside now, so no change for minimum 36 hours. We will just re-schedule Vegas for another time but hate missing all the guys and laughs.

Geesh, they don't even have sand and salt out there! That really sucks.
I guess with budgets, sand and salt would be furthest from their minds. It's probably a good thing it's at a stand still, be a lot more deaths with fast drivers sliding on ice. Jmo

If my car was on a icy hill stopped, it would have zero chance making it up without sand or salt. Zero. So I'm probably as close to the coldest spot in the US as anyone on this site and I would be screwed down there without my 4 runner.

Too funny. IE, life is too short bud. When are you ever going to make it to Vegas for our trip? I know you are a gambling Man, so its not like going to Kentucky or Indiana for a golf outing. C'mon, Man!

cars that people left on side of highway last night are now being towed to impound yards

Sorry to hear that and I feel for you. We got stuck in that '08 storm when Atlanta was shut down and they couldn't get us on another flight for 4 days. Hang tough!

Well fuk, this one looks like it will be even worse  7+ inches of snow in parts of Ga and 3/4 inch thick ice:facepalm::facepalm: Luckily the paranoia caused from a few weeks ago will mean people are off the roads, but massive power outages expected from downed trees and power lines.

Generators are so nice to have. If you ever need it just one time, that pays for itself for not losing all the conveniences for however long it is the power is out.
