he plays $1100 a game...and will put more if he really likes it. 20 some games is nothing...he`ll play everygame on the board if he has an opinion -- dont understand why its hard to believe

whats the big deal, if you don't like it, don't read it...and even if he is betting all these games, he's hitting over 60%, which means
$$ $

thanks hellah ;)

Let me set the scene...

Let me set the scene...

Kosar and Nick are just waiting for these picks to crash and burn..so they can comment on their infinite wisdom in which THEY warned all of us poor slobs who aren't qualified to make decisions for ourselves.

I wonder if you two could be any more smug?

You have it read all wrong, rrc. I'm not acting smug. I just think of all the posts in this thread, kosar's are making the most sense.

I think it is a common misconception that people who know what they are doing in any business hope and wait for the failures of people who are doing things the wrong way. If you are confident in the way you do things and if you do them the right way then you just worry about yourself, try to give good advice when the situation arises and let other people do what they are going to do.

Totally off the mark, RRC. In the same vein as Nick's comments, I promise you that if these picks were to go 2-23 some night, I wouldn't and won't say a word.

Everybody does what they're going to do and I can't change or affect that. I'm glad that this guy has done well the last two nights. I'm glad that people (supposedly) coattailed him and made a bundle. I have to say though, that when the picks start to even out, there won't be all of you guys popping off about how you rode him and how lucky we are to get this guys picks. Whaddya think, RRC?

This whole thread makes very little sense on so many levels and i'm just voicing one opinion. You can call it smug, buddy, but someday you'll know what i'm talking about. Maybe.

Nick, once again, you play the "That's not what I'm saying" card, and then say it again!

I think it is a common misconception that people who know what they are doing in any business hope and wait for the failures of people who are doing things the wrong way.

So, you are implying that you "know what you are doing" in this business, and that the others are "doing it the wrong way".

You always manage to be smug, and then try to brush it off with an even more smug comment, thinking that the peons to whom you are addressing won't catch it. That not only makes you smug, it makes you look like a dick. I don't want to think of you as a dick.

You anoint yourself as a "handicapper", and tell others they can't be because of this, that, and the other thing. You can't just say you're "the man"......others have to bestow that honor upon you, Nick. (It aint been done yet, and I think that is a sore spot for you. Thus, you keep trying to force the issue, in hopes that someone will finally say, "Nick is the shit!")

Your own space here, nice writing skills, and dedication to handicapping, don't mean shit if you bounce the ball off of your foot and go .500

You can't spend your days with a Walkman strapped to your dome, listening to your own accolades, and shutting out the rest of the world. Sooner or later, you will get run over........

yyz,

You take too many liberties with what I write. Just because I assert that I know what I am doing doesn't mean that I feel that I deserve praise or that I am looking for praise. There are quite a few people that understand handicapping, I am just more outspoken about doing things the right or wrong way than most.

The right way in handicapping is winning.

I'll take doing it wrong all day long as long as I am winning. Just as Nolan stated, he saw what was going on and respected Hellah's view of the MAC and figured any of his handicapping couldn't be as good as hellah or his friend in this case and Nolan didn't have the time so he went with some advice given by hellah and his friend.

THAT'S WHAT THIS SITE IS FOR AND WHETHER YOU COATTAIL OR NOT IT IS EVERYONES INDIVIDUAL DECISION.

Just because no one plays your pathetic plays nick, don't come in a thread like this and lecture or comment or anything else about how we should do anything.

BRAVO yyz very well put  :thumb:

ctownguy,

You betray your ignorance (yet again) with statements like, "the right way in handicapping is winning." What a moronic statement. A winning day, week, month or even year means nothing in the long term if you don't know how to handicap the right way because in the long term you will lose.

Please don't imply that I'm against coat tailing winners. Hell, I coat tail winners from time to time myself. Maybe you should take a reading comprehension class, go back and review the posts from kosar and me in this thread and then get back to me on what the point of my posts *really* was.

I'm not sure why I'm jumping back in here, because the lines of opinion are pretty well distinguished already -- and there isn't much that can be written to change the minds of some (including myself, probably).

I initially put up two posts here, simply as a THANKS to Hellah. I didn't glorify the mehtodology of the handicaper nor did I suggest others whould start playing those picks. It was s imple THANKS. That's it.

I did also mention that what made me take note of the handicapper was the fact that I also happend to like some of the plays that first day, and thought it coincidental that he picked the same sides -- so perhaps we were looking at the games the same way. So, my reasoning for playing these games was hardly "blind." Add my high regard for Hellah's work ethic and integrity in wanting to help others, and these plays looked like they would be worth considering on the nect day.

In my time here in Las Vegas, I have seen bettors approach the windows and literally flip coins before picking games. Absolutely no mehodology is used. I've seen people at the track pick horses based on the names of the colors of the jockeys. At this site, I presume that some play games blindly, mostly for action. Hell, I've made $100 "fun" bets myself more times than I could count.

I have no opinion about the Millinium controversy and didn't man for any of my comments to indicate that I was taking a position, because I really have nothing to say about it. I have had a $5K account with them for about two years now, and have never had any problem getting paid.

In closing, there is a big difference between someone like Hellah coming on here, and taking the time to post (at least what he believes) to be good betting advice. He's earned that right through his work at this site. That's different from a rogue handicapper coming on here and screaming LOOK AT ME! I'M THE GREATEST! -- which seems to happen here every so often.

I have no idea if I'll play Hellah's material in the future, or not. I take things on a case by case basis. But for the time being, the man has done some nice work, so I though he deserved some appreciation.

Show the man a little love.
