I wouldn't like to, but then I don't own any concealable guns, nor any with high capacity mags. When was the last mass shooting with an O/U shotgun? Never.

And I have no problem with a thorough background check, permit for each gun, and random LEO requests to inspect my guns and permits.

I don't own a .45 I do however like shooting 9" pie plates with the 1000yd. benchrest rifle. That gun can "reach out there". It's also cool vaporizing groundhogs in the farm fields from 7-800 yards away.

Punching pie plates at 1000? Groundhogs at 800? You haven't said, so I'll just assume that a badass shooter like you is shooting a .308. You're shooting consistent MOA groups? I'll bet skulnutz can post the same. He's a badass shooter too.

You're badly needed in Afghanistan. Give you a bench and unlimited ammo, you could take out a Taliban regiment before they could get close enough to put a scratch on you.

The debate should be about restrictions on gun ownership in an effort to reduce the number of guns per capita. Because less guns per capita = less gun crime. In my plan, I wouldn't take everyones5guns, just convicted criminals of any type. DUI...you can only own hunting weapons. Misdemeanor. ...no guns for extended period, with ownership of hunting weapons in time if parole not violated. Felony.. no guns for life.
