I didn't last 5 minutes with Serious Man. If you like Halloween or Stepfather movies you get the same ole stuff with these 2 as well. I got through those, at least :)

search your DVR for the movie "Akeelah and the Bee". It's a Disney movie, and they play it several times a month. I watched it a few weeks ago, and it's really a great movie and I'm sure one very few here have watched unless you saw it with one of your kids. I never watch or like movies like it, but it is a good one.

Well I finally watched Saw VI. Only took 4 days to watch it all. Nothing new from what I seen. Same stuff. I guess Saw VII will be out this year. Sicne the ex-wife is now Jigsaw. This movie will never die I guess.

Gonna watch Gran Torino sometime in the next 30 days.

Nah the wife isn't the new Jigsaw I don't think.

And I don't think that guy is dead either. He jammed that thing into part of the door so it didn't do whatever and kill him, just messed up his face, but I'm pretty sure he lived.

I think Saw VII is supposed to be the last one but not sure. Have heard VIII was the last but read something the other day saying it was VII.

Either way, same thing basically every movie and I still think the 1st 2 were the best.

Old Dogs

Travolta and Robin Williams

Some hillarious scenes in this one :142smilie

Not that good of a story/movie but the funny parts make it well worthwhile for a rental or torrent ;)

It would be fun to watch this with Nole because I know he would have some belly laughs :142smilie

Wow, found a gooder!

Swimming With Sharks (1994)

Kevin Spacey flick and a very good performance too. I am a fan of Spacey so looked up his movies, never saw this one, watched it and was pleasantly surprised.

4 outta 5 stars!

Not sure about the ending, maybe someone can explain it to me and make it clear in my mind. wow!

The Book Of Eli

Meh..I guess I was somewhat entertained because I watched the whole movie. There are a lot of boring parts that you might catch your mind wondering a bit. The good parts might make up for the slow parts. Maybe.

I hope this movie isn't up for any Academy Awards because it doesn't deserve any but I wouldn't be surprised if Denzel gets a nomination because.......he's Denzel.

2.5 stars out of 5 is my rating.

Club, Scott Tobias graded the film a B, and wrote "At a time when theaters are experiencing a glut of doomsday scenarios, the Hughes? ashen, bombed-out future world looks a little too familiar, no matter how crisply they present it. But the showdown between Washington and a deliciously hammy Oldman complicates the film?s overt religiosity...".[17] Owen Gleiberman of Entertainment Weekly gave the film a D, calling it "a ponderous dystopian bummer that might be described as The Road Warrior without car chases, or The Road without humanity."[18]
