My 52,000 Mile Tune-Up is in the Books......

After my blood clot scare in September the doctors my put me through every test known to man.....Had C-Scans, PET Scans, checked kidney/liver functions and finished up with a Colonoscopy yesterday.....I have been given a 100% clean bill of health.....


I owe it all to a steady diet of Hot & Spicy Food, Beer, Alcohol, gambling, MJ's & Sex......Looking forward to the next 52,00 miles......:0008

Either caused from long periods of time driving without stretching or my genetic makeup.....They were concerned about cancer at first but will all the test that has been ruled out.....My guess is from over the road driving with my work, I would do 3-5hour non-stop runs over a 18-20 hour road trip....:shrug:

Are you on blood thinners? The reason I ask is that my mother had a clot in her knee about 3 months ago. They operated and put her on thinners. She said she thought she only had to be on them for 3 months? I don't know.

I had clots in my leg a couple of years ago too, so good chance I'm on them for life now.....I've rearranged my life/work so I don't need to drive as much so I should be ok going forward....I will say it's a great feeling having all these tests done and knowing where you stand health wise....:0008

Overall yes.....I like a lot of spices in my food....cook very little fried foods, even grill my wings....The areas I need to work on is exercise and less breads.....I'll be working on both areas soon.....:0008
