I've looked all over for it and it's gone???????? I'm trying to set the prefrences on my printer and can't do it without the control panel.........any ideas?????

tried that and it says the following:
this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator ?????
This is a solo computer in my office.......there is not a network, it's my own computer???
Right-Click the Start button
Click "Properties"
Make sure you're on the "Start Menu" tab
Make sure "Start Menu" is ticked, not "Classic Start Menu"
Click "Customize"
Click the "Advanced" tab
Under "Start Menu Items" the first entry is "Control Panel"
Put a tick next to "Display as Link"
Click OK twice
Now check your start menu
Another way to start control panel is to click Start > Run > Type Control Panel > Press enter
