We have a very reasonable number 190 and...

It has worked all season...only 1 game was above that number and both lower tier teams have been below that number.

Anybody?

I hear what you're saying but I'd be worried Minny will give up 110+ and Minny covers the O in garbage time. This game is similar to Bos/Philly last night which would have gone over 190 had Philly shot better than 36%. Also both playing 3rd in 4 nights but Minny was off yesterday. Also, only Pierce and Allen played more than 30 min last night. Personally I think this could go either way IMHO so no play for me, but GL.

My leans for today

MIA @ WAS O193
IND @ NYK O226,5
DEN @ NJD U199,5
ATL @ SAC O208

BOL
Joe[/QUOTE]

Was leaning Mia O & Den U myself. Don't know about Indy. They shot dreadful the 1Q last night but then picked it up. If they come out strong and with NY's lack of D I'd lean O, but Ind is so unpredictable..

Guys,

I haven't had a chance to cap and I don't think I will have time. I have my chase on for the Yanks but that's it. I might have to go with my eye on this one.

any thoughts on PHO/ORL going under the number?

Off to make care packages for the troops before veterans' day. It'll take a week to get there. Tonight is karate night too so I'll be heading to the American Legion after to watch the Series.

Will check in around dinner. BOLTA :toast:

I'm thinking of locking that play unless I see opposing info. Thanks

Well my worst fears came true last night, with the 2 jeckyl and Hyde teams of Utah and the Mavs, never know wheat to expect from these 2, especially Dallas. Will be awhile before I make another play on one of thier games.:00x25

1-2 last night
13-9 YTD

Early leans
Magic at home tonight, anything 6 or below
Wizzards
Den-NJ under, whatever it is
Bos-Min Under--Think the Celts call the dogs off early, TWolves will try to slwo it down
Ind-NY under
Mem-GS over
And real curious on the Lakers-Rockets line. Atrest going back to Houston, and LA pllaying OT last nite. Thinkin LA -4 to 5??

Thoughts???:00x32

I'm also looking to POD Houston tonight if they are getting at least 5 points. Does anyone have a line on that game yet?

Also, Ax, the only thing holding back that play would be the Suns play on back to backs. I don't see Channing Frye/Amare combo holding Dwight in check, and Nash absolutely cannot stay with Jameer. The Suns will not be hesitant to get into a shootout, especially with the amount of threes both teams take. This game just worries me a bit, because we know each can shoot the lights out.

BTW, does anyone have any info on why Vince Carter sat out nearly the entire 4th quarter last night??

Yes but the mavs shutdown the other team and pull away when it counts.. twice they have come from behind and covered the spread.. The defense comes on strong and have several clutch players.
Just play the side when it comes to dallas.

This line looks like a joke, to be honest - reflecting the Rockets' hustling string of success of late; but these are the Lakers, always motivated to bloody the nose of those riding a wave of noise on the block - Chicago last year, Houston now early in the season - and especially so given the animosity b/w the 2 squads. The Lakers may coast more often than not as they did last night against the Thunder, almost as if they want to see how they react in a situation in which their backs are against the proverbial wall. But give 'em a foe that they harbor a dislike for and they usually exert an honest effort.

Expect the Lakers to come out w/o mercy and to stick it as much as possible to the Rockets - Houston likely will win its share of games that they're not supposed to this season, this game just doesn't look like it'll be part of that scalp tally.

Hoping this is as objective as possible given my personal dislike of the Fakers.

Have not covered this season.

I believe last night they were looking ahead, maybe.

Day 2 of Back to Back road games with your star sick?

Lastly, Ron wants to win will Phil let him?

At -2? maybe

I guess the real question is how will b2b effect both teams this early in the season? Will it make them lazy on defense or kill their legs for shooting? I was leaning the other way thinking PHX worked hard on defense in the off season but gets lazy tonight being tired and gives up 130. Just my thoughts..

I just have to go with Orlando tonight. Those old Suns legs have to be tired, and i don't think Howard can suck like he did yesterday twice in a row.

Interesting stat: Last time the Suns went 5-0 in the opening of the NBA was back in 1984-85. I have a feeling they will be blown out of the water tonight.

Orlando -8 locked

Nuggets played a very good game last night and I am thinking they are already resting for Heat game on friday. Nets are that bad and they are just gonna walk in and play it off. Line opened at -10 and is -9 with no one betting the Nets. And why should you, they have important injuries and they suck ? There are few players on that team that are worth mentioning. Alston had a bad game vs Bobcats and might be up for a challenge. Likes to take a lot of jump shots and if the Nuggets outside D is on cruise-controll, he can have a really good game. Lee is also another shooter than can score in bunches and Lopez is a stud inside. Add in Roberts and Williams who are both young and can score and this might just turn out to be one of those "where amazing happens" games.

If one can find any evidence that supports theory of Nuggets coming out tonight with the intetion to win, I wouldn't mind laying the points.

I also like that public has pushed down the number on Pacers - Knicks game. I know what they have (not) been doing thus far, but two run'n'gun teams should be over or pass. Just look at what Knicks did to Hornets that are a generally slower team, and Pacers run even more. Love the sense of urgency in the Pacers and like them to even win it SU. Perfect for over, probably something smaller on the side as well.
