I just cant believe Michigan is being so dumb to hire Forrest. From everything I hear it is true though.

Also hear Spurrier wants LSU if they want him this time. Also Tuberville is willing to try yet another SEC West team.

I would take Spurrier over Miles tomorrow:mj07:

Although Tubbs has done a nice job in Aub, I don't want him.

Not sure how well he would work out in terms of recruiting, but what about Chris Petersen (Boise State )

Peterson's son has brain cancer. Doing well but it is figured he will not leave where the doctors are and thats a big reason nobody even bothered to try and get him last year.

I do think he has big potential but he isnt ready for a job like LSU yet in any event.

Anyone for June Jones if you can get him from spear fishing? What about the Zook a nator, not loved by FL but I think he should take another shot at the SEC. Do you think saban will leave the dreaded Alabama for Lsu? What about Butch Davis does he leave after a year? You know he is an Arky guy. Is fat Phil getting a pass? Do we know if Nutt will be headed out? ALL GREAT ?????????
I personally think that Miles and Tubbs are liked by most LSU and Auburn fans but those same fans wouldnt care if they both leave........So why would either stay, If Tubs stays someone will be on the chopping block think its poor old AL.

Cie, Ole Miss has now become a play. Line has
gone up to 19.5. That is crazy. I took Kentucky
against LSU, I can sure take Miss too. After all,
they played the Gators to the end. They'll win,
but 19.5 is too many. The SEC Championship
game is the knuckle biter. Arky could give them
a scare but it's at LSU and Arky doesn't get it
done. Hope they win out, LSU vs OU or UO will
be a hell of a game.

GL this week :toast:

I have played only Kentucky so far, but I am going to play Ole Miss for sure.

LSU will be without MLB Darry Beckwith this week. I am hoping he is back for Arky, or it will be a BIG problem.

The current DT playing beside Dorsey is true frosh Nevis. A stud, yes, but frosh nonetheless. I hear Marlon Favorite will be ok, and was more or less held out last week because he could be. Don't forget, LSU lost DT Alexander for the season in September, so experienced depth becomes a concern on the DL.

I am still not sure about RT Stewart, but looks like he is fine. IMO, its a huge problem if he doesn't play.

Zona +12 x1 (-105) This is it for Zona, who is playing their best right now. Mobility at QB gives Zona th ability to score w/ Ducks:scared

GLTA

Glad to see you on this one...I locked this in right when it came out

The Ducks can score in bunches and it's a bit of a roll of the dice to back the Cats cause sometimes their real good and other times their terrible but lately they've been real good. The final score of their last game against UCLA doesn't indicate the ass whooping they laid on the bruins

In the 4 major categories of Off. rushing and Off. passing and def. rushing and def. passing the cats hold an advantage in 3 of those 4 categories

The Cats are better statistically in defense rushing and defensive passing and offensive passing but they are a huge disadvantage in offensive rushing.

also, arizona beat oregon last year 37-10. now no one is going to mistake last years duck team for this years and oregon had 6 turnovers last year but the Cats know they can get it done.

both teams are coming off of a bye week so maybe that will stunt the ducks momentum just enough for the cats to squeeze in the cover

So Cal
Whats all the talk about L.Miles and T.Tubberville leaving at the end of the year?

Miles would be the biggest jackass of all time if he leaves LSU. Like he will ever land a gig with half as much talent to work with @ LSU.

Why would Tubbs take the A&M job?
doe he have any ties to the school?

Unless they get the boot , then thats a whole different story

I'm assumming this thread is mostly speculation.

Cie,
I'm on Arizona this week also.

Thanks Grant! I almost hope UT loses to Vandy or Kentucky. I don't think we can play with LSU this year or at least not until we get a new coach. Go SEC!!!

Vols owe LSU payback for the upset in the '01 SEC Championship. If I recall correctly, MattMauck didn't complete a pass, but he somehow led LSU to a pair of TDs in the 2H. :scared

You gonna make the trip to the ATL if the Vols make it:shrug:

I removed the play based on my findings at consensus sites. I do not rely much on these, as sportsbooks are not trustworthy imo, but it appears mich is a very publicly backed doggie.
