Maybe you don't find it offensive, but Christian doctrine sure does. What YOU think doesn't mean a thing. It's what the bible says that counts and it makes several references to homosexuality as being an abomination in the eyes of God.

I think we all just need to hold our horses here.

Religion is something we all have the freedom to do or not do as we see fit.

We must respect the rights of those against our religion if we expect them to respect our right to our religion.

So we need to all observe each other's first amendment rights and just be glad that men were willing to die and shed their blood so we could each have those rights.
