peace Ray. I know that you are a good egg.
you need a bit more than spell check.
I am sure that I am not as "significant" as you IO. After all, you are some unmarried 40 something loser from Chicago with no kids. Tough to match your legacy. I find it amusing that you called me an "internet tough guy" after I did not insult you in the least. But at the same time you say shit to me that you would not say in person. Odd. I don't have a graph for you. I know numbers and vectors and timelines are difficult concepts for your thumbs to grasp. But I do have pic for you.

bbc saying I am offensive hurts me....emotionaly. I will not clog the forum with nonsense against IO anymore. I have a feeling that if sat down for a beer we would agree on alot than we don't.
Ray, I know you are very popular poster and I dare not tread on hallowed ground, but honestly, you need to go sit in on a 3rd grade english class. You really do need some english "lessions". That for should. Oh, and take IO with you.
You continually bash people on this board for their lack of intelligence or their poor language skills. This seems to only occur when the individual has an opinion that differs from yours. I do not believe that I have seen you rail on Sponge, who is the biggest steaming pantload here, but that would not fit your style. It is easier to attack the messenger rather than the message, and then later blame it on posting while drinking.
I am sure as you are enjoying your crudit?s and chardonnay with your wife Muffy, and the rest of the intellectually elite that you no doubt surround yourself with, it must provide great conversation as you boast how you were able to put the concrete contractor from Philly in his place.
I have an idea for you. You can be the Henry Higgins to Ray?s Liza Doolittle. That would just be a hoot for you and the rest of the local MENSA chapter.
I apologize in advance as I do not have an Ivy League education, but feel free to go ahead and flame away at this reply. I am sure that there are spelling and grammatical errors, as well as some sentence structure issues.
Is there really any doubt that learning a new language expands one's mind and aids learning?
Dartmouth college study: "Researchers in a 14-year study found that kids educated in dual-language schools outperformed monolingual children on standardized tests. Students in dual-language schools did better than those in traditional bilingual education and those educated only in English."
Furthermore, the majority of the population of "westernized" countries (and many others too) learn English, so that they can communicate with foreigners. Why is it so below Americans to learn another language, especially one like Spanish when so many people here and around the world speak it?
This is such a stupid "issue" I can't believe I'm even replying to this thread and that people actually think otherwise. I said it once on this forum before and I'll say it again - linguistics is not a political issue! Get over it.

If it helps you out sweetheart I am in my forties with no kids and no wife. I will be able to wake up tomorrow even tho this in a way was a shot at me also. You continually bash people on this board for their lack of intelligence or their poor language skills. Jabber don't let a dirt bag like this bully you. The way they vote is fifty times worse then anything you say. This guy is lecturing you about posting etiquette but if you read most of his post they are always filled with insults. Just like the one where he is trying to make his point.
