funny guy.
that might become mandatory in your state-run prisons if you elect McCain.
maybe is already.
All I'm sniffing is the end of the bullshit repubicon leadership that has taken us in so many wonderful directions.

The End

this is the end
my beautiful friend, the end

you guy's bringing back slavery?
wouldn't be that much of a regression.

perhaps you'll just segregate your schools and military and busses and who know what else.
that would be even less of a step backwards.

vote for the white guy.
pretty fucking funny.

let's get some IQ scores of Barrack vs John, shall we?
I'd love to bet on the outcome of that.

I would venture it would have to be in the something like:

Obama -1000

McCain +1200

IO, your inevitable vote shows that you do not understand the subject of Obama or John-boy.
Don't matter, anyways.
You will benefit despite your foibles.
Johnny will join Brady on the sidelines.

You know something that I don't?
Quite likely, but my guess is that you can't, or won't, articulate it.

Enjoy the benefits regardless.

Not trying to be a dick, but why do you care?

You live in Canada. I'm not the most political person and I can't even tell you who the president or I guess Prime Minister is of Canada......I wish I paid more attention, but I'm pretty ignorant on the subject.

I'm very unknowledgeable (is that a word?) of political affairs and of the belief that no one can help what's going on in America although if I had a vote I'd vote for Obama. I choose not to vote because it gets me on jury duty and my state has a 100 percent chance of electing obama so it doesn't matter.

In all seriousness, I care because the wonderful United States of America (I AM being serious--no irony or sarcasm there...for a change) has been, is, and will be a leader in whatever direction our world will head. Great things have been accomplished and great things remain possible. At the same time, obviously, I, personally (what else is there), believe that our planet has been led down the wrong path in a number of areas and I--rightly or wrongly--hold the USA to be greatly responsible for such misgivings. I believe that by 2100--more likely sooner--we will not only see stagnant economies but will also be enveloped by some serious ecological problems such as that we will have no choice but to change "our" directions whether or not it fits into our economic (the dominant paradigm) models. This current rant cannot encompass the entirety of my concerns for the future--obviously--but I can only conclude that a McCain leadership will be a repugnant engagement of the status quo while there remains some decent evidence that a rejuvenated Democratic leadership will pursue and, even, acquisce to the more intelligent paradigms that are being envisioned by leading intellectuals in the fields of economics, science and foreign relations. We are in SERIOUS need of change and my hope is that change will, in fact, bring about change. Change is, indeed, ripe for the taking. I, again, will mention that the progressive-thinking economist Paul Krugman just won the Nobel prize for economics (don't assume the word "progressive" means "socialist" because it sure as shit doesn't) and that many other intelligent people, like him, will flock towards to the possibility of real change within a similarly progressive government. Sure, Obama gets the same B.S. campaign contributions from the fucked-up military-industrial complex that controls so much of current foreign policy, but that is just par for the course--Hillary had even greater support from some nefarious associations that appear to be welcoming the rapture instead of considering the next generations survival. The point that I am trying to make is that Obama seriously represents the possibility of change within our current systems and that he will attract the brightest of serious progressives which is exactly what we need at this present time. Sure, I still fear the status quo and the possibiility that once in power Obama will succumb to the wishes of the dipshits that really control things behind the curtains (please don't get me started on this one), but I am quite convinced that this is the best move--for the globe--in what appears to be a no-win situation. I only say a "no-win situation" as the models that we are currently living under are exactly that as far as future generations go. Again, change is needed and Obama appears to me to be a possible catalyst for some serious change. No...I do not support socialism or any ultra-left-wing bullshit. Capitalism is fine but major transparency within the controls of the elite--military, banking, health, shclameezle, schlamazzle--need to be enforced so that the health and safety of current and future generations becomes more of a priority than it appears to be now. Take a look at even the European Unions safety precautions for such basic things as children's toys, cosmetics and even food standards...ask yourself why they follow the precautionary principle and why we don't in North America. The answer is simple and it is the god-awful dollar that is the cause. Again--no socialism--fuck that. That is far from the point. MY personal concern is with relations between nations and the health and well-being of citizens within nations. The past 8 years has seen a total disregard for these primary concerns and a grim, apathetic attitude towards the future well-being of everyone on this planet.

ffsakes...I could probably go on...and might make more sense if I did, but I will leave it at that as I may or may not have finally contributed something of value, for a change, during this tirade that I've been on the past 8 hours or so.
Probably made some enemies over this time.
Not my intention.
I, myself, remain confused over our apparent priorities and am having a difficult time articulating just how grave I believe that our present path is.

I just hope that people will keep an open mind when examining the important issues that face the future of our planet.

My apologies for being such an asshole.
The future of our species remains in doubt and I can get quite annoyed when people do not recognize that.

peace

IO,
I could give two shits what you or any other member think.
I believe that I have a decent gauge on the future, and that's what concerns me here.
I hope I am totally wrong, believe me.
Wouldn't be the first time.

I hear the Democrats are blaming the Republicans for the GLOBAL ecomonic slide.

Does that include the bankruptcy of ICELAND as well ?

Lots of unjust finger pointing going around.

Let me rephrase that.
Obviously, I DO give two shits about what other people think or I would not have wasted my time.
The point is that my rant is a generic rant for any Americans to view, and that my animosity is more directed at anybody, primarily, who is not willing to listen. If that makes no sense then may I suggest Conflict Resolution 101. My animosity is thus directed at close-minded individuals; I should care not for them, though they are the ones most in need of a cerebral abrasion. The extra effort--the elaboration--is meant for any who do not want to be included among the throes of apathetic ignorance. Whatever group any readers belong to, let me say that I have spoken my peace, or tried to, as politically incorrect as it may have been, and that I will ATTEMPT to restrict my future postings to the gambling forums, which is really all that can expect to gain benefit from within the confines of MJ's website.
It is not the fault of any individual, here, that I am disgruntled by the world we are living in.
I confess that it is, however, my own inaction--and, perhaps, that of others--that leaves our followers in much graver shape then I--we--might have otherwise left them in.

If that makes no sense then we will have to leave our children's children's children to decide.
I would be on trial, same as yourselves.
We have all just done what we were taught.
In Doctrine Nation.
