While a discussion is occurring in the NCAA football section, wanted to get the thoughts of some of the general viewers. The shit pisses me off: Here is my post in the NCAA discussion:

Whenever you have to play the I did nothing "Legally wrong" card you are admitting to the world that you did something wrong, but there is no Legal Penalty for it. Morally and Legacy though will not stand for the I passed the information along.

Also, his son, the sttorney, may want to just shut his trap, as his statement that the police dont take hersay reports, so my Dad couldnt call the police and file a report, is complete and utter garabage. Police investigate on hearsay all the time, that is what usually starts the INVESTIGATION to collect the FACTS. If this Asshole was allowed to victimize another child cause JoePa was protecting his buddy is beyond sickening. Fuck this pisses me off to think these programs think that all that matters is compliance with the shitty NCAA bylaws, what about the poor kid who had to deal with this shit and burden for years. UGH!!!

How about how ESPN buried this story? Headline yesterday was "coach not allowed on campus anymore" Not, "Coach raped kids"

Failure to report the rape of a 10yo boy is horribly disturbing. I also heard on SVP that a meeting of administrators ruled to not allow Sandusky to bring children on campus after Paterno reported the rape. Seriously??????? I'm shocked that failure to report molestation to the police is not a crime.

Beyond comprehension that Paterno would think he did the right thing by simpling passing on to the AD the information he received.

You know this is just the beginning of the story and is going to snowball........Joe Pa knew and turned his back on kids in trouble & his school. The last two road games at Ohio St & Whisky will be nasty on the PSU players..........

Step down now Joe

HELL

Taken or cited from this article above,

"The former grad assistant told the grand jury that he'd caught Sandusky subjecting the boy to anal intercourse and said he reported what he'd seen to Paterno during a meeting at Paterno's home the next day. Paterno then met with Curley and, according to the grand jury summary, told the AD that the assistant had seen Sandusky "fondling or doing something of a sexual nature to a young boy."

WTF??

From what I read it is in what the grad assistant (McQuery) saw and relayed to Paterno that brings into question JoePa's subsequent actions. McQuery saw the graphic incident in the shower and went to JoePa the next day. The Paterno camp is stating that McQuery told JoePa he saw something 'sexual in nature' between Sandusky and a young boy, but was too disturbed to tell the specifics. JoePa relayed that he was told something 'sexual in nature' took place to the AD and the AD took it from there.

Paterno's side of the story further tells that at the time Sandusky was retired (w/ tenure) and still had a relationship with the atletic department but not the football program directly, so the official that should have oversaw the investiation in the incident is the AD.

I think all of us here are of the same opinion that it doesn't matter if McQuery didn't tell JoePa the specifics. The fact that this involved a child and is such a horrible crime if remotely true, required more than reporting it. Follow-up within the university as well as outside law enforcement is a no-brainer.

Joe Paterno is done and his coaching legacy will be tarnished. Just a matter of time. He is supposed to be leader of young men but turned his back on this?
Disgusting.

I couldn't agree more. The fact that Penn State forbade the coach from bringing any more of these children on campus property proves they knew what was going on.

And how many centers get recruited to Perv St U? Paterno is not a POI as he didn't perjure himself before grand jury. I think he will try to stay on as head coach (npi). but the administration will sack him.

I don't give a fuck how many games a man win's as a coach, to turn his back on kids getting raped is absolutely disgusting. Fortunately for him the old fuck's time is limited on this earth and he will get his. I wonder how he would feel if it was his grandson getting fucked in the ass, by someone who was caught years earlier but had it covered up.

The rapist is sick in the mind. But these "figureheads" who knew about it and failed to report it need to go to jail for a very very long time.

Not only did they know, but they didn't enforce this. He held coaching clinics at the school years after that 'punishment' was handed down.

It's okay coach, just don't rape them on school grounds. Off-grounds feel free to rape as you see fit.
