I have read the entire 23 page indictment and it is just plain sickening!!!

This guy is a child molester and did it right in front of them AT LEAST going back to 1998 ... was caught IN THE ACT in 2002 and they still allowed him use of the facilities to bring these under privileged kids in there!

JoePa knew in 98 and he made him take early "retirement" in 99 but they still let him have an office and use of all the facilities. Then the guy caught him raping the 10 yr old kid in the shower in 2002 and JoePa was 2nd person he told after discussing with his Dad how to handle it ... he passed on "inappropriate" behavior and never looked back and then still allowed this rapist to use the full extent of the athletic facilities!

And he was just there LAST WEEK working out!

i can't believe they let sandusky out on 100k bail.
they probably did it so he can kill himself. otherwise, the prisoners will take care of him.

when it comes out that he is completely innocent, I will start the thread saying I was wrong and jumped to a conclusion.

Until then, I will call this the most disgusting controversy/crime associated with sports that I can recall.

I feel no remorse in passing judgement on this guy and all of the people involved that essentially enabled it.

The only reason I can assume Paterno didn't come forward and "tattle" is because of the media. Sandusky is the sick fuck here, not Paterno. There's plenty of people out there that "see shit" and just look the other way because they just want no part of it. (That asian video on here a while back comes to mind, where the child was ran over repeatily by vehicles). The abuse of a child (sexually or whatever) IMO is about the sickest action on the planet, but I have to think Paterno turned his head on it to protect Penn State University. How else can you slice it?

Wow, I just read the report. This shit went on for a long time with many boys, ages 8-14. Several times these incidents were witnessed but only reported to school authorities and then never getting reported to police. I don't think Sandusky was ever even confronted about this crap. One time by a mother who discoved her son had showered naked with Sandusky. Wht didn't SHE call the police?

What about all the other boys that haven't come forward? This sounds like a daily thing that was going on for years. One of the worst crimes I ever heard of and people were aware of the crimes and they just brushed it under the carpet. Holy shit!

We're going to be hearing about this for a long time and then the civil suits will be coming shortly after. I imagine the schools can be sued for these horrible crimes that continued on for many years.

And Paterno had to know about a lot more than that one occasion if it was going on for that long and with so many other people knowing about it. I'm furious about this and my child was not a victim, I can't imagine what I would do if my kid was abused like this.
