They will not cancel the rest of the season too much :0071 The game will probably get the highest ratings of the year, everyone likes to watch a car wreck, mark my words, sad but true

A car wreck with alleged candidate Urban Meyer on the color call. It will draw the biggest 12:00PM number of the year, no question.

did joe pa & sandusky remain friends after 99?
if so why did joe pa say nothing when sandusky adoptions :nono: were they boys?

did joe have anything to do with the foundation that sandusky ran?

it remains to be seen, what a mess this is...all legit questions

Football sure is king....Duke cancelled the lacrosse season and that was nothing compared to this.

It must be strange to be a Nebraska player this week as they prepare.

As a Husker, I never thought I would not want to watch a Husker game, but this mess has really made a very good game and very important to the BIG 10 just seem irrelavant and not necessary.

How the Husker players will react, how will the Penn St players react? It just doesnt seem like the appropriate time for a football game at Penn State.

It sucks that Nebraska has to be involved. Penn State is not a great place for visitors anyways, simply youtube some of their antics against oppossing teams, I'm glad I will be no where near that stadium and am glad that Osborne has asked Nebraska fans to simply wear blue in support of child molestation awareness. Ugh!! This post makes me sick, as I am concerned about a football game and Husker fans, when these boys, now in thier 20s are having to relive their worst nightmare. This is unreal how bad it has got and it is only going to get worse. How the hell did this take 10 years to come down? CRAZY!!!!

McQueary already told the Grand Jury that he told Paterno Sandusky was performing "a sexual act" on the kid. If he falls on the sword for Joe, he's getting a perjury charge.

Joe is going to say he didnt hear that or like that, and classify it as horsing around.

hedman - I those exact same feelings as a fellow Husker fan.

I wish there was a way for the game to be forfeited without it being a loss or win for either school.

However, you know that won't be the case as people will clamor that it impacts divisions winners and who plays for the Big Ten championship.

Joe is going to say he didnt hear that or like that, and classify it as horsing around.

i want to hear that old fuck explain a bunch of things

1) why did sandusky retire in 99
2) was he aware of the allegations in 98
3) why didnt sandusky get another coaching offer anywhere else
4) why the rumors that sandusky was blackballed in the coaching industry
5) why didnt he call the police in 2002 after his gutless former qb came to him
6) why didnt he follow up with his ad/pres in 2002
7) why was sandusky still around after his "keys were taken away"

there's so much more to this and it stinks to a massive cover up (which is very easy to see) and to think that the ad and president.....the same two people who asked paterno to resign in 04, and he said no.....were the only two who came up with the "take the keys away and dont bring kids around here" outcome is laughable.........its so not a stretch to believe (and i totally believe) that paterno was in on that whole decision making process, just like he forced sandusky out in 99 due to the 98 allegations and kept him out of the coaching industry and in turn kept quiet for the last 14 years.

He was a very good DC and at 55 you would figure some programs would check in to see if he was interested in coming to their school for a DC position. I would like to hear from those coaches or programs. What was said to them about his status.

So now Paterno is supposed to come clean on exactly what he was told by McQueary sometime soon. Cant wait to hear more cover up, and McQueary will fall on the sword for Joe Pa. Fucking pathetic.

Yep Jr. They will do anything to save this cock sucker. Im pretty sure the age factor will play out here. "joe isn't of sound mind" I wonder how many rapes and other stuff was covered up there? This reminds me of that Warren Jebbs asshole or what ever his name is. Someone with lots of power enuf to make other assholes look the other way to keep their jobs. Paterno had it all. Cops, politicians. They answered to him. The strange part with McQuaery is how much did he have to tell Joe for Joe to figure it out? Did he have to explain to this asshole Paterno, how many times Sadusky pumped it in that little boy? I hear the reports said he told Paterno that Sadusky fondled the boy. Isn't that enuf for Joe? What more did Joe need?

Layinwood, your answer is in the final paragraph of this article....

Jerry Sandusky Rumored to Have Been 'Pimping Out Young Boys to Rich Donors,' Says Mark Madden

by Michael Hurley on Thu, Nov 10,

In April, Pittsburgh radio host Mark Madden wrote a story revealing Penn State for much of the cover-up of Jerry Sandusky's alleged child rape that has been exposed in the past week. While it didn't raise many eyebrows back then, six months later it looks to be incredibly accurate.

On Thursday morning, just hours after legendary head coach Joe Paterno and university president Graham Spanier were fired by the school's board of trustees, Madden was asked on The Dennis and Callahan Show what he believes the next piece of news will be.

What he said was twice as shocking as anything that's been released thus far.

"I can give you a rumor and I can give you something I think might happen," Madden told John Dennis and Gerry Callahan. "I hear there's a rumor that there will be a more shocking development from the Second Mile Foundation -- and hold on to your stomachs, boys, this is gross, I will use the only language I can -- that Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors. That was being investigated by two prominent columnists even as I speak."

After the news spread, Madden later explained via Twitter why he went public with the rumors.

"I normally abhor giving RUMORS credence," Madden wrote. "But whole Sandusky scandal started out as a RUMOR. It gets deeper and more disgusting all the time. One of state's top columnists investigating. That adds credence. I am NOT rumor's original source. [Why does] Sandusky deserve benefit of doubt?"

Madden also spoke more definitively on Dennis and Callahan to the cover-up efforts at the school and beyond that he expects will be made public soon.

"The other thing I think that may eventually become uncovered, and I talked about this in my original article back in April, is that I think they'll find out that Jerry Sandusky was told that he had to retire in exchange for a cover-up," Madden said. "If you look at the timeline, that makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

"My opinion is when Sandusky quit, everybody knew -- not just at Penn State," Madden added. "I think it was a very poorly kept secret about college football in general, and that is why he never coached in college football again and retired at the relatively young age of 55. [That's] young for a coach, certainly."

How do they play this game this weekend?

I think PSU should just forfeit the rest of the season.

It is very clear that this story will just get more and more ugly.

I said the same thing and my buddy said that you would be punishing the current members of the team for something that happened in the past.
I agreed, then said let them play out the season, NO Bowl game, Big 10 kicks them out of the conference and they don't play football of any sort at Penn St for 5 years.

That is true but they would have to understand that some things are just bigger then football.
