It works, and short term use isn't going to kill u. Lot better than being really heavy.
oooorrrrr you could just mix in getting off the couch a bit

Other than being a bitch, what were the side effects?
irritable, moody, if you take it short term its probably okay, she had to go back to the doctor to get bp checked each month and weigh in, I think she took it for 4 or 5 months, dropped weight like crazy
I am no doctor, but would not take this drug for any reason.
My suggestions for anyone considering taking weight loss drugs is to do so under the supervision of your doctor.
Not that you care, but this is how I would address obesity:
Start by running 30 minutes (at least 5 times weekly, but I prefer 6)on elliptical(better for joints than treadmill) ,and increase by 15 minute intervals every 3 weeks until you are at 1 hour daily. Mix in some light weight training. This will become habit, and the high you get from working out can be addictive.
Stop eating fried food, fatty reed meat, processed food, fatty dairy and anything after 7pm.
Keep hydrated, eat lean red meat less than 3 times weekly, drink booze no more than once weekly, eat oily fish at least 2-3 times weekly, increase intake of legumes, veggies and fruit and eliminate fatty milk(including lowfat milk), juice and soft drinks.
This will work, but discipline is the key.
no pills necessary..expend more caloroies than you take in and the weight will come off naturally..walk at a quick pace, don't run, if you are not a runner..i lost 60 pounds in 3 months doing this only and kept it off..still drank some beers each nite and ate dry air popped popcorn for snacks..ship the pills..good luck..:toast:
eating betty helped too...lol...:0074
As if living with you had nothing to do with her irritability:mj07:
exactly...i agree that you don`t need to run....but do some resistance training,too...muscle burns fat.....nothing makes you feel better than resistance training..it releases endorphins that improve your feeling of well being....
one of the hardest things in life to do is to stop working out(if you started in your youth)...you feel like shit pretty quickly...and that`s a good thing...it`s addictive...
if you`ve really never worked out and waited until your late 20`s and 30`s,i have no idea how hard it is for someone to start and sustain......
probably pretty hard,i`d guess....because theres no immediate gratification...it takes a little time....
interesting :toast: topic...
Agree with all of this, Wease.....
Like someone mentioned, you do not need to exercise to lose weight, but cardio and resistance training burn calories and increase your metabolism, so I would highly recommend it.
You can always lose weight like Mad Jack. No workout, count calories and fast for a couple of months. It is not my cup of tea, but might work for you.
Either way, there many ways to skin this cat. Hope you find one that suits your needs.......
