Since 1998, Pinnacle Sports has been doing online business with US citizens who enjoy gambling, but when American gamblers signed onto their accounts this morning, they were informed they could no longer place bets with this sports book located in Curacao.
Pinnacle's "main man" gave *** an exclusive interview this morning and here is some of what he had to say:
"It is with sadness that we have chosen to leave the US market, but we are so grateful for all the customers we've acquired throughout the years"
When asked why Pinnacle Sports elected not to give any advance notice, he stated the following:
"We didn't want anyone to have time to take shots at us."
He started to reflect at this point:
"When the U.S. focuses on something and says 'enough," and when they go to 'war,' no individual company can possibly win in a fight of this nature."
"Since the Internet Gambling Bill went into effect, we have lost the ability to do business with many quality banks."
"Fortunately, 35-40% of our current gambling business is non US driven, and perhaps more importantly, we are experiencing stronger growth in Europe and Asia, than we are in the United States."
"So why live in fear?"
To conclude, all US citizens are encouraged to ask for their balances as soon as possible. Pinnacle assured Eye on Gambling that everyone will be paid promptly.

FOCK! This is terrible!!! I thought they would be one of the last one's to go down! I have 3 pending wagers with them that I placed last night....atleast they're letting me play those, but after that it's withdrawal time. I have 5DIMES and I'm also going to look into MATCHBOOK. Matchbook seemed to have lines/totals out the night before which I like....
might and might not. if they do, hopefully they do it like pinnacle is and not like BoS did.
i'm confident by using the 12 books i listed above you're fine. this decision by pinnacle should really help those books as well with all the new biz they will be getting.

i think we'll be fine if olympic & cris continue doing business with u.s. residents...but i think there will be major problems if one of these 2 books follows pinnacle.
I asked for a withdrawl about 2 hours ago. Still no messages and I still have an account balance. Is that is what happened to everybody else? Please let me know if you recieve you money.
How are you withdrawing your money? I use neteller...I can't withdrawal after tonight as I have pending wagers, but hoping it goes smooth as everything should be done pressing a few buttons.

Well Jack, nobody thought Pinny would leave the US, so how do you "highly doubt" anyone else does? Believe me I hope you're right, but I NEVER thought Pinny would leave nor did anyone, but I like the list you put earlier in the thread, those are all solid outs, I just hope they all dont see Pinny, the mercedes of books imo, and follow suit, but all we need are a few outs open....How about a canadian bank account tied to neteller of some sort, or a relative that lives there, that would probably work :shrug: :shrug: just dont know anyone that lives outside the US, wonder if that would work though if you did

This was one of the top books I also recommended.
Funny, I was reading on another site Party Poker is supposebly coming back to US citiziens in February. And they said some of the top guys there are buying up all their stock they can.
