my 2 cents:
i was shocked this morning. did an immediate neteller withdrawl, but haven't received it yet. i'm not worried. it'll come through. i also emailed them and told them to pay the 15 fee because its not my fault its the second withdrawl in a month and they said they would.
i was an ardent supporter of pinnacle. something is going on behind the scenes nobody hear knows about and i suspect jack will be the first to hear it. their biggest betting days as with many books are super sunday, and the super bowl. for them to shut down before the superbowl something major has to be going on. it doesn't make sense otherwise. maybe their owner got pinched or they cut a deal or something, i'm not privy too and i don't want to speculate bad information or guesses. I would just withdrawl your money unless you enjoy 0.01 cent wagers. BOS left a bad taste in peoples mouth along with camelot and blue marlin and others in the past. i always thought if pinnacle went down the offshore industry would. only time will tell, but this is a big loss for a lot of people.
jack has a good list of sponsors and i won't say anything about them. as for my personal opinion, the only book i would really feel comfortable in right now is wsex because those guys friggin HATE the us government and will go to bat for us players if only to spite the us government. but that's just me. i'm sure spiro at oly and bet jam is thriled about this and maybe you could put funds there. i trust jack to go to bat for you on any of his sponsors, but there is only so mych he can do. theres plenty of bad history books.
the only thing i can say to be safe is don't keep a large balance anywhere. ESPECIALLY after the superbowl. pay the money to get withdrawls.
it will be interesting to see how this unfolds, but it really is a scary day. frist ****ed everyone. something is going on and we dont' know the depth of it yet and won't for some time. keep low balances and be careful of lower tier books as the superbowl ends.
time will tell, but this really puts a big dent in the industry. but as jack and others have said before, market demands will put something new up there. it will just be different and take time.
BUT, if neteller goes down or you can't process transactions from that, then we are in for a real fight.
my advice, get your funds out of pinnacle. keep low balances, and hope for the best. their really isn't much you can do. but the government isn't after the bettor, at least not now, they are after the people accepting them.
gl and hope for the best is all you can do
