This is an absolute must-see. Fuzzy Thurston's Bar. Fuzzy is usually there, especially game weekends. Several of former players (including former Raven's players) will probably be there before and after the game. That's where they like to meet. I've been there and it is awesome. Nothing fancy, just a good ol' neighborhood bar. Here is the website:

two of us fly into MIL early sunday morning. 8-something.

staying at the tundra lodge in green bay sunday and monday night.

prob get a car, drive to room, check-in and shower, then head out for watching football all day sunday.

monday during the day is up in the air.

my buddy doesn't drink so we have a DD :00hour

prefer to sit between the 45's or anywhere in the club level but not being familiar with that stadium so don't really know.

want to tail gate.

want to do something fun during the day monday before the game.

def not into playing poker or any casino stuff. i'm completely burned out.

up for suggestions.

Make sure to were Purple, and and and all Ravens clothing. Especially if tailgating... they love it!

I remember years back going there on a Thursday night game with San Fran coing into town. The year after GB lost in San Fran in the playoffs. The palce was a rockin, and I was wearing a Sna Fran sweatshirt. Not even a San Fran but I had one, and I hate the Packers so might as well. I heard numerous unthinkable comments, but felt nothing as I could have cared less. But, the more the game went on, the more people were stumbling over people to yell at me! LMAO!!

All in all, great experience. I only felt somewhat uncomfortable on the way out, too much attention from the drunks, and some way to beliigerent at too close of a range if you know what I mean.

I wouldn't be too afraid of getting harassed.. Been there for Viking games and get a little bit of harassment but always been minor.. Was there for a Falcon game last year and it just wasn't the same crowd as when the Vikes were there so they won't be as amped up for Baltimore . . I hope when you go the Ravens beat the living shit out of them so a little bit of arrogance will leave the stadium. Tons of good drinking establishments in the area.. Don't do much outside of town because the smell of cowshit will kill ya...

That's one of the unique things about small town ball!

It should have been a nice change of pace for you, though. Here, you get to smell shit, while in Minnesota.....you get to watch it.

Seriously! 3 days after I moved here, I knew I wanted to be here for the rest of my life.

I knew maybe 5 people here at that point, and now I feel like I have been here my whole life.

those yankees in Wisconsin aren't going to be anything like as nice as we are in Kentucky and Tennessee. My wife is from there, and she won't even go back, ha ha! All the times I traveled up there, the people were always rude, aloof, and my feeling was they wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

About the only thing I see true in that statement is the pissing part. Up here, we generally use water to put out someone who is on fire, or maybe toss a blanket or a coat over them, and roll them on the ground.

If you think pissing on people is the best way to douse them in a fire emergency, I can understand why they would come off as rude, or otherwise aloof.
