I'm seeing out to left at 6-7 mph at at gametime.

Regardless, I don't think the wind blowing out is going to favor the Cubs here. Hendricks pitches to contact, and when you pitch to contact in a Wrigley softball game, you get lit up. deGrom will miss more bats, and the Cubs are also highly prone to the K.

Overall, I just think there is so much emotional investment in the Cubs that a fair line cannot be set. They beat the worst team (in current state including injuries, not based on entire season) in the playoffs in the last round, but ran into healthier arms in this series and have been summarily shut down. They also lost both games with their two best pitchers, the supposed ace of which has completely broken down with bad mechanics and decreased velocity. These aren't robots, they know what just happened, and they know what their situation is, and it isn't good.

Cubs may get some ump help at home, but short of that, or an off outing by deGrom who has otherwise looked fantastic, I'm not sure what there is to like about them in this spot.

Barrett home ump will definitely help them. Cubs have pretty much ALL warm weather young guys - all the guys south of the US and even Bryant and Rizzo are Vegas and Florida respectively. They are young and not used to thise NY conditions. Tonight they have the warmth and wind, and backs against the wall. I think they hit Degrom enough to get a win - and will loosen up with a lead late to get the over.

Let's call it 6-3 Cubs again.

Cubs/Mets Over 7.5 +100 20 units
F5 over 3.5 -125 10 units

I couldn't pass on Chris Young over Dickey. Playoff Royals getting +142 vs Dickey is too much for me.

Royals get em tonight, and then Jays BIG tomorrow.

Royals +142 15 units
F5 +130 10 units
F5 +.5 -110 10 units

Since July, Mets have more homers than the Cubs. Hendricks is a joke. He needs a huge zone to be effective.

Cubs needed at least one of games 1 or 2, probably both.

I do love the over here, plus all the alternates going up to 13.

Dickey lol. Amazing the respect he gets - almost scared me out of a play. Fuck, Hopefully CY deals. Royals are so tough

That game still could have very well stayed under. Why not just concede instead of bringing in Latroy Hawkins. WOAT!

Cubs F5 +.5 -140 10 units

Ump given mets like 4 shitty strike 3 looking calls. That one hurt

Both teams have taken some unreal bad at bats. Not getting over 7.5 with the run of cans we have seen here is really annoying.

Fuck - I'm shocked 9s are gone in Toronto - I tried to save a few bucks on a juice, and lost the number... I really didn't think that would happen. Damn.

I did get this one in...

Royals team total under 4 +100 2 units

Almost for sure playing Jays and under - I saved money waiting on Jays, but lost the important hook on the total.

Last chance for everyone to back the "Cubbies" tonight another ridiculous price. What could be better than playing a terrible starter backed by a bullpen full of gas cans and a lineup that can't hit their way out of a paper bag?

Read on this one?
