Looking to buy the wife a quality pre-owned vehicle.
Most anything Toyota
Thinking @ a Camry cept we have 3 young'ins, so it may be too small ?

Or MiniVan/ another 4Runner ?

She currently drives a Ford Taurus so anything else she will really love ;)

Any input is appreciated :D

Had a Camry the first year they changed the body type. Was complemented more on that car than any other I drove. Unfortunately it was stolen after 6 months.
I drive a Rav-4 & would not recommend it, it's too small. I think the 4-Runner is your best choice. Can't go wrong.

Good Luck

Can't complain with a 94 Camry.... 250,000+ miles and still running well. Mostly highway miles, but still seems to be a good car. Along the same type car, anecdotal evidence shows the chevy impala to be a better car than the ford crown victoria among some of my colleagues. All 3 might be a little small for 5 people, but who knows.

We have lots of folks uphere that get Impala and Buick Lesabre. They make good used value Get the model with the 3.8 v6. There good for 200.000 to 250.000. They will give you room for 5. Honda has a model that will just about gt 5 in. Problem with Honda they want to much. Watch the deals close. With some of the rebates or zero financing. You can darn near buy new and get the warrenty.

Senor a genral rule many folks follow when going with used is this. Get one with less then 30.000 on it or over 60.000. Why. Well in many cases the one with less then 30 on it is just 2 maybe 3 years old has some warranty left. Tires are still good, muffler should be ok shocks and so on. Why over 60. Well tires should be second set should be good. Brakes if they were going to go they have. Shocks should be new. In other words many cars with just over 60/65 have had must things replaced and your not going to get stuck. The ones sitting between 35/40 and 60/65 as a rule. There just waiting to have you put money in them. Make sure if at all possiable you get one owner used. And get permission to talk to that owner about the car. GL

Certified should mean the better car and records to prove it. And yes for darn sure if you go Honda or Tyota go V6 or you will wish you did.
