Hey guys,

I know I've come into the forum and dumped some of my personal life that's mainly been bad news. Well, it's nice to report that I have some good news to share.

The COO and CFO of the law firm I work for are coming into town tomorrow to talk to me about something. After sitting down with the managing partner today, I was told that my role within the law firm would be changing, and I'm officially been given the title of Office Manager. Now, technically I already do about 50-60% of what an office manager does for our office. Now I'm just going to get the remainder of the responsibilities which are mostly HR related. I can't tell you how happy I am. You haven't been able to wipe the smile off of my face all day.

Now, I know I still have to go through the meeting tomorrow, but I am so ready for it. I have so many questions about the direction they want me to take things. I've got ideas and I just wanna bounce those ideas off of the bigwigs. I've been with this law firm for 10 years now......it's really nice to have some hard work pay off and be recognized as a good worker. Oh, it won't hurt my feelings that a much deserved pay raise will be included :) :) :)
