For us "bowlers" I was speaking in board language. When you shoot 16/6 that means you stand at the 16th board and swing it out to the right and roll your ball over the 6th board on the lane. It should then come back into the pocket- which is the space between the 1 and 3 pin. If your ball isn't hitting the pocket the rule is "if it's light move right if it's heavy move left". Then you make adjustments by moving your feet on the boards and moving your mark (where you roll the ball).

Unless you're a lefty, then its reversed....:0008
And what you wrote has to be like reading Chinese to non-bowlers.....:142smilie
Very nice scores for your 1st time throwing on a Nationals pattern. lets hope its pretty similar to what you will find in Reno.
The guy at the house we practice the shot on says he can get it pretty close---the machines at Nationals are quite superior to the ones most local houses have so its not quite the same.
My best single game score at Nationals in all the years I've been bowling the tourney is a 226 and have shot maybe 10 600 series in the 19 years I've bowled Nationals.
It is a true test of your bowling skills for sure.
And Thursday is tomorrow...enjoy your trip!
