No sh!t, I was there plenty of Thursday nights for $5 all you can spill :mj07:

Do they still have specials like that? I remember The Tap (Waterfront now?) was $5 on Wednesday. Ahh, the days of partying Wed-Sat :sadwave:

We have actually had "Beat The Clock" on Wed - Thur. Drinks start at .75 and go up every half hour. Some bars still have all you can spill for $7-$8. What years were you there?

I was there from 94-99, if I remember correct :142smilie.

I was thinking of the Market that had $5 on Thursday, The Flame was the late night bar with the Mind Eraser drink back then. We still usually make it up there for Ice Softball.....Team Kaopectate

IF YOU DONT HAVE THE GREED(NFL) NETWORK SURF YOUR LOCAL STATIONS BECAUSE THE LOCAL STATIONS CARRY THE GAMES LIVE IN THE TEAMS LOCAL MARKETS.
THIS SHOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM JACK.
FOR THE REST OF US:fingerc: THE SUITS THAT MAKE THESE DECISIONS!!

On the course!
I can't believe there are still people out there who don't know about this!

This is going to continue to be a failure for the NFLN.

Still, unless you are an extreme fan of a team, (like Jack in this instance), or a degenerate gambler, (like 85% of this forum) you really don't miss the "big Thursday night game"!

As each week passes, the pains will get easier to take, too. This will crush the NFLN even more, and benefit the customer, IMO.

The NFL is testing the waters. Eventually they
want all NFL games to be pay for view because
they are cocky enough to think they can get
by with it and monopolize the $$$.

i think your way off yyz..failure? by next season the cable companys will give in like they always do and carry thye nfl network.the nfl is to big for them not to carry it.and the reward for the nfl net is to large for them to give in.i dont know if you guys know but broadcasting your own games on your own network is more profitable than selling your thursday night package to say espn for 800mil...this will not fail ,i guarnatee it...they will eventually show even more games on their own network also.
agree with you ,that its pretty strange that theirs people like us that still dont know about this.

Moe, it will find it's way. That is true.

I am saying that the NFLN thought the average household was going to demand that that they get that shitty extra game each week, when, in fact........they could not care less.

They far over-estimated their worth to the consumers out there, with their current package.
