I haven't played since the 70's :lol:
I won all kinds of tournaments back then though.

But I bought a good paddle back then and it made a HUGE difference. Those paddles that come with the set and most cheap paddles aren't worth a crap but the ones with the thick rubber padding are the shit. You will be amazed at the spin you can put on the ball. Your game will improve 1000 times with a good paddle.

I will bet you all your Madjack T-shirts that your serve was illegal. 90 percent of those that play Table Tennis recreationally have an illegal serve.

I played in sanctioned tournaments "back in the day" I can almost guarantee you your serve was illegal.


Table Tennis is like Golf, nobody actually plays by the official rules.
