Doctor was just in and gave me the thumbs up to come home........:00hour:00hour:00hour:00hour

Pretty much point A to point B for the next few weeks but I can "live" with that!

Thanks again for all the positive waves it means a lot...I'll be back to being a pain in the ass soon...:0008

Fantastic news! I'd thrive with that lifestyle.

Prayers for you Sports! I had clots in both my lungs at the end of June...bi-lateral PE. Spent 9 days in the hospital and found out I have a genetic clotting disorder known as Protein S Deficiency. On blood thinners for the rest of my life now, but it beats being dead! Hope you get better soon!

I just went through the same thing. Blood clot on lungs, heart failure, many infections. Waited too long to go to the doctor. Finally went to the emergency room. Doc said I only had about 3 days left on this earth if I hadn't gone in. Spent 13 days in the hospital, then 21 days in a nursing home. Lost 120# in those 5 weeks. Was treated with Heparin also. Did the job. Now on Xarelto. Been home now for over a week and starting to get my strength back. Doc says no more drinking.

Hang in there Sports. Hope all goes well. Glad they caught it in time. Blood clots are nothing to mess with.

I'm on Xarelto 20 mg.
Dr. said I was a couple of hours from dying, but I think he was exaggerating! Huge reality check for me since I have a 3 yr old and a 16 mo old!
Hope you get back to full strength soon!
