I signed a 'no compete clause' within a 100 mile radius when I sold my BBQ joint,....I have the recipes stored somewhere, hand written.......somewhere....I know this dosen't help :mj07:

Above the Clouds....
i mix up a dry rub with whatever I have. Open the cupboard and pull out garlic powder, onion powder, papricka, brown sugar, a little cayenne pepper, a dash of cinnamon, salt, pepper, oregano, mix em all up and pat them in. no need to measure go with what you feel.

Cook low and slow and sauce the last 10 minutes.:toast:

after you do all that poor bourbon/beer /wine and olive oil all over them...let sit for 2 to 4 hrs.... keep turning and basting.... I like to start out with high heat for about 1min on both sides.... move to low heat the rest of the way, with top down on grill .... mostly with the bone side up towards the end..... early on with the bone side down use the shape of the rib to add extra basting... Key : keep them moist, so they will end up moist....

Just sit back and drink and send the wife to Willy T's Rib Shack and enjoy.:thefinger

i don't really like ribs. :mj07:

i've only had them at ONE place outside the home that i liked them and that's 'the corner stable' in baltimore.

my wife made them once and i liked them and i cooked them on the egg once and liked them.

so, i'll be having them tomorrow on the egg ;)

thanks for the suggestions, guys.

i just want to sit on the deck and tend my ribs while drinking a 12-pack tomorrow on this fine holiday weekend.
