FINALLY got brent on the phone. I called until about 10:30 last night and a few times this morning and no answer. Well, he had a private number but no phone. :mj07:

Everything went good. it took 6 hours. all vitals are normal now, he's been up and walking 4 times today. he's had a cup of ice and a popsickle.

i think he said he goes home tomorrow :scared

that's how good everything turned out.

he sounded a little sedated but he's well medicated and a little sore.

doc saw him this morning and is well pleased how everyhting went and how he's reacting to the procedure.

now, just let the weight melt off, studley.

they don`t let any grass grow under a patient`s feet in the hospital these days...i don`t know whether it`s because you stand a better chance of avoiding infection at home or it`s just a financial calculation...

but they put you out in a hurry....

Well, I'm home safe and sound. What a wild past few days. I'm still a bit out of it at the moment, but I wanted to post a quick note and let everyone know that I'm doing well and everything was a success.

I truly am blessed with all of the thoughts and prayers that were sent up for me the past several days.

In the next few days I will post another update about the day of surgery and my time in the hospital.

I talked to the Big Stud today and everything is going great. He's home, he got a good night's sleep, he's drinking his fluids, taking his meds, taking his walks and feeling real good.

Yesterday he sounded drowsey when I talked to him but today he sounds chipper, as usual.

Doc said he should lose 30-60 pounds the first MONTH :scared :00hour

He's really pumped about tomorrow's Tide game and will be watching, I guess with 1000 friends over

There won't be any alcohol consumption until about June, however :scared
