Are you a "Log Cabin" Republican? I've never seen anyone "sigh" on Madjacks before. :mj07:

Roger: Have you ever seen the movie Good Will Hunting? This is just like the bar seen where Matt Damon calls the one guy out for using recently learned information (stuff he just learned in class) as if it were common knowledge. In short, this guy won't be able to define 1/2 the words a week from now. He thinks it makes him sound intelligent, but it actually has the opposite effect.

I was hoping you might give me some insight into the evolution of the market economy in the Southern colonies.

BJ:

That was funny. How bout dem apples. Tenny don't get caught up in the "...let's back up our comments with proof..." argument. Your right wing cohort Wayne has been doing that for years. He will post links to support his psychotic positions for www.foxnew.com, www.nationalreview.org and www.kkk.com.

I mean lets be real. You can find some link to support any wacko position you want on the internet. Wayne's been doing that for years and getting away with it. He's even been making it sound authoritative.

All you gotta do is listen to Rush. As a centrist, I'd say your position is untenable.

The frightening part is that he actually believes it.

Wayne:

Thanks for the link (ironic laughter in background). I'm all misty eyed now for the 60's. Reminds me of my youth and Viet Nam I.

Funny, how 40 years later and in the middle of Viet Nam II things haven't changed much. Kids still die, right wing still justifes the deaths through mouthpieces like Limbaugh, and the majority of folks buy into the government & corporate America's line of crap (back then it was the military-industrial complex).

After a while people get tired of the war and the deaths and (just like Arlo Guthrie) start thinking "...what are we fighting for...don't ask me I don't give a damn, next stop is Viet Nam."

God love ya Wayne. You remind me of Neidermeyer in Animal House.

1. As a matter of "fact" Einstein--you cannot get transcript of your topic listed there unless you are a member--which I am not--and don't care to be.

2. So truth of matter is you must be member if you got it--however I assume--since only thing you put up is in the heading--

3. HEADING = America's Anchorman: Deranged Left, Drive-By Media Celebrate Torture Death of Two American Soldiers
--and nothing else- I must assume you also are not member and did not read transcript either.

4. --so either cut and paste entire transcript as was asked for intially --or do your liberal side step with half quotes as you have managed to do in your last 4 post since asked to put transcript up.

Here we go again.

1. Yeah, looks like you have to pay for it. I did mention that I heard it on the radio, and didn't come across it in print. However, you said it was hearsay, so I'm providing a source.

2. Would you say that the heading on the Limbaugh site reflects what I claim to have heard on the radio? I'd say say so. Notice how I used the phrase "good riddance" as my search criteria and how it brought up the story I was talking about.

3. Why would I need to read the transcript? I heard it on the radio? Read the heading and let me know if it sounds like what I posted.

4. You're trying to spin your way out of the fact that I provided a link (with a heading that reflects EXACTLY what I posted).

You and Tenzing suffer from the same problem: you take a comment directed against one of your heroes as an attack against everything you believe in. Rather than respond to the original post (Limbaugh is an ass) you call me an embarrassment, anti-American, and pretty much make me out to be a liar. Typical.

Why not make a case for Limbaugh? Why not side with him in the fact that you believe Liberals ARE happy when negative stories come out of the war in Iraq? You want to know why you aren't taking those stances??? It's because you can't.

Listen, ahole

Listen, ahole

You keep using personal attacks.

You refrain from using facts.

Just because you hate yourself, doesn't man everyone else does.

They do hate you, but it's not a direct connection.

You have proved what you think of yourself, and what you want others to think of you.

So, we do.

Have a nice day.

And thanks for laying it out nice and clear for us.

BTW, I never said I am this that or the other.

:)

For all you know, I could be anti-Rush.

But....

Since you never bothered to ask.....

No Smurph What spin is -is when Buckwheat takes 6 posts now and counting --and still has failed to back up his initial post with fact--

All I stated to begin with--is show me the facts
Did I ever tell you I'm from Missouri originally--for real.

Buckwheat--if you can't provide the facts fine--but quit wasting bandwidth with excuses ;)

I thought you'd appreciate that Edward :)
--a healthy and prosperous New Year to you.

No Matt he posted "a" link-- to Rush's site.

I gave him benefit of doubt being new to forum but told him I like to see is initial allegation in full context.

The prob with Rush's site is you can't access text for that day unless your a member which I'm not and won't sign up for--therefore I asked him to cut and paste context and he confirms he is not member either--therefore he did not know context either. So he's posting a link he has no clue of at time to back up previous allegation.

Now if after all that--if you think he has verified anything--you slipped a spoke from the center to the left :)

The only conclusion I've came to is we have liberal driving down road reporting listening to Rush on radio--then directs me to Rush's site as proof of what he inferred- but after being caught with the " needing to be member to access context" admits he isn't member and never read context-- excuse me if I'm "a little" skepticle.

You aren't making an argument, you're throwing up a smoke screen. I heard it on the radio and have pointed you in the direction to hear the clip. There is no transcript on this link, that I know of, just the podcast if you are willing to pay for it. Keep deflecting.

I'm Liberal? When did I report that?

For people with a fully functioning brain, here is the source I provided after being told that listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio wasn't good enough. Below is a screen shot from Rush's site. The search now puts the story down to #5.

This has been an entertaining exchange, however, I have one question:

What is a Liberal?

And more importantly:
What is a conservative?

The reason I ask is that in this exchange people have been called liberals numerous times both seriously and in jest.

The only working definition I can find of "Conservative" is "less government". And I am certain that a Military Intevention half way across the planet against a country that has never militarily threatened the US would not be considered "Conservative". I could provide numerous other examples of the fact that Bush and his government are not conservative but it seems like this word has definitely been hijacked. As for Liberal, it seems anyone who criticizes Bush and the Republicans is "Liberal". This is very simple word trickery that Rush Limbaugh and Sean O'Hannity use to sway their audiences. I would take off on any Liberal Radio guys but there aren't any talented ones with large audiences so it's not even worth it. The best example of a blowhard Liberal is probably Rosie O'Donnell.

If people would only understand that the Liberals or the Conservatives are not the problem. The problem is the neocons. Many Conservatives on here think the Neocons are conservative but they are not. The Neocons have infiltrated both parties and they have even made a mockery out of what a true Neocon would be. Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld are big time neocons.

Prediction: Wayne will claim that his computer's graphics driver is on the fritz and he's unable to view this image.
