They broke the rules, should be banned for at least a couple years, but that will never happen. I mean they let some dude win the Main Event last year using a computer and shit, so the rules mean nothing.
Why the fuck does the World Series of Poker even have rules? They never enforce them, players constantly breaking the rules and nothing ever happens. For fucks sake I bet if some dude pulled out a gun and said "you better fold this hand", the WSOP brass would do nothing.

The two guys should have been upfront and made a deal publicly instead of being secretive about it. It was intent to defraud for the million, right?

Rules were broken.
They should get nothing.
But that will never happen, because you can do whatever the fuck you want at the World Series of Poker and nothing will ever happen to you. Break the rules....and it means fuck all.

WSOP rule 40b states: “Collusion is defined as any agreement between or among two (2) or more Participants to engage in illegal or unethical acts against other Participants. Collusion includes, but is not limited to, acts such as: chip dumping; soft play; sharing card information with another Participant; sending or receiving signals from or to another Participant; the use of electronic communication with the intent to facilitate collusion; and any other act that Host Properties deem inappropriate.”
The WSOP defines chip-dumping “as any agreement between or among two (2) or more Participants for one or more of the Participants to bet chips with the intent of increasing another Participant’s stack.”
