i'll bet. they have some stuff at the hospital that numbs it and you have no pain but blurry vision. i guess you have some of that? if not, go in there and get it. the emergency room has it handy.

that numbing medicine is great, but it only lasts 20 minutes, and they won't give you a prescription for it.

The treatment now is actually putting one of the new 30 day contact lenses in. That's what I have, and it hurts like hell too, but not nearly as bad. Man, what misery!!

Scott, I was accidentally poked in the eye.

I actually had an antibiotic eyedrop in the quinolone/floxin family, but it did nothing for my pain. Doc says it's healed now, but still feels like I have something in my eye. Pretty miserable, and I'm terribly light sensitive. I went out and bought sunglasses today; I've never owned or worn a pair in my life (nor have I ever had glasses). Sure will take some getting used to but better than feeling like a focking vampire when exposed to light. :( I also felt like an absolute :s7: today when I went shopping. Saw around a dozen people I knew and felt compelled to explain to them why I was wearing sunglasses inside. :SIB

You've never used an ATM OR owned a pair of sunglasses?

What else you got, Clint?

wife always wears them too with her green eyes. I have brown eyes and always mocked her and her sunglasses. Guess it's coming back now

Kosar, I've also never killed anybody. Does that count?

Ahhhh, come on Clint. I just can't believe that somebody could go without sunglasses for his whole life. Kentucky, Florida, North Dakota, whatever. That's probably why your eyes are messed up.

dude, I've never worn them! :mj07: My eye is messed up because I had a huge gash taken out of my cornea. I'm finding out it's hard to recover from that! Wife's calling me, "Elvis" and says I look sexy, so maybe it's a good thing? :0corn

Glad to hear eye getting better Clint.

The only pair of script glasses I have are sunglasses---Don't need them for reading just in the distance.
Wear them outside especially driving our golfing--get some funny looks when golfing and cloudy or near dusk--but can't follow ball without them.

ATM Never used one and wouldn't know how--neither has wife- never had the need for one:shrug:

I, too, have never owned a pair of sunglasses. Have dark brown eyes as well. But the ATM thing, at least 1 time a week.
