Actually, this settles all of it. When I read it carefully I see it states that the SECOND AND THIRD PLACE FINISHERS WERE OVERPAID!! If there were a three way TIE for first there would not be a second or third place prize!!!

There was a tie first, then a tie breaker was called. The point of a tie breaker is to determine an overall winner. You didn't win the tie breaker, so you did not win.

Well I get that:
Depends on the official Hilton site and how the results are posted. I have emailed the Hilton to see what the official ruling is. Originally the official site showed 3 teams in first place with one team having an asterisk. I'll go along with what the Hilton says if they respond.
I agree with this. All this bullshitting about winning is taking away from the fact your team did VERY WELL that year.
I'd focus on that success and not try to say you won, when clearly you did not.
Come on man.... It doesn't depend on anything. If there was a second and third place team and a first place team that received more money for winning then you didn't win....period. It is that simple. They didn't discover it right away so the initial results announcing a tie are no longer valid. Thay had a tie breaker, what is so hard about this?
