And don't think for a minute that everyone doesn't know that the comment that your daughter was typing all this is a lie also.

At least everyone knows that you are a pathological liar and cannot be trusted to participate in anything I would ever be a part of.

Liar and a fraud.

I'm sure you're probably an OK guy Wineguy, but I don't jump through hoops. So some stranger wants me to change my signature, duh, would you, I don't think so. This is not real life here Wineguy. To think I would give 2 shits what anyone here really thinks about me is ridiculous.........have a good night....:0074

Yeah, I would if it was a falsification of what really happened and an entire board I was posting at knew. And, I have met real life on here, dickhead, and real life is actually good. Nice people, brotherly, caring, and just great in general. Non-real life is where you live mentally , "Hilton" head job. Fuck you.

I'll give your kind words some consideration.

What's with the name calling? How old are you? I don't know any people that name call.

Here's the way I look at it.

On the PGA Tour, if you have 3 players that tie for first, they go to a playoff. In that playoff, the winner is declared the champion and the other two are considered tied for 2nd place.

Word it however you want, but the end result is a tie for 2nd place. The only grey area in this case, The Boys, is that there was a big mess up by the Hilton. Just playing devil's advocate here, but let's say that the Hilton got it right the first time around and paid everyone the appropriate amount of money. Would you still say you came in first even though you received less money than the winner?

Just a thought.

Thanks for your input. This was the first time in Hilton history that the contest ended in a tie, let alone a 3 way tie. It's strange how they listed the 3 teams in the final standings, it went something like this:

1. 1t
2. 1
3. 1

The 1t team won the tie breaker with the exact same number of wins as team #2 and team #3, we all had 52 wins. I don't know if it was ever changed in the official records???????

I'm glad you didnt take offense to my post, because it certainly wasnt meant to offend. Just trying to offer up my perspective. I understand your perspective on things, as well. I can easily see me in the same situation, if someone asked about the contest, "I tied for first, but lost in the playoff." Now, that still means officially I came in 2nd place......but it just sounds better the other way. I think what the disagreement going on here comes where perception meets reality. It's easy to perceive that you tied for 1st, but officially, you tied for 2nd. Regardless, it was a hell of a season you guys had.

I took no offense what so ever. I get hostle when some of the guys here name call and just can't communicate like adults. You should read some of the messages posted yeaterday.

I see your point and don't disagree, it's such a grey area. Funny though, when I talk to the other guys on the team and our team sponsor Johnny Detroit we all say the exact same thing: We tied for 1st place.........that's the way I'll probably take it to my grave.............In 2004 we tied for 1st place, silly I guess..................Thanks for the input..........:0008

I will agree with you that there was some name calling yesterday borne out of frustration.

There is no talking to you Boys and you know it. That is why I get frustrated when you are obviously lying and acting like a lad half your age. My daughter wrote that.....come on dude??? Really, that is what you are going to try to lie about?

Be that as it may, communication is a two way street and it will always degrade when one side of the conversation is purposefully trying to tick the other party off, much like you were trying to do yesterday as was I.
You could have saved us both the aggravation by simply stating that you didn't want to answer the question of did you win, right off the bat. I am not an unreasonable man but I can get upset when someone is.
I am done with it. Great year but it was damn near a decade ago so whatever.

Hope that helps,
FDC

What's important is how you remember it for yourself. I know I'd always feel great knowing I tied for 1st. But I think what ruffled feathers is that you are trying to force everyone to see it your way. In the world, there is only one "winner". I guess that's why tiebreakers exist.

Again though, great work back in 2004.....and in this years HP contest. You have a knack for this 2nd place thing (ball busting) :toast:

Boys, Your boy johnny states in his bio " His team of handicappers won 2004-05 LVH super contest for 6 figure payday " I will at least give you credit for stating you tied. I can understand a scam man like johnny not telling the whole story.
