So each time I check back to this thread I expect more people to have a job opening for me like... "hey seth i got something you'd love" but nothing, lol.

I've got a nice RV, I could probably take a few people but I'm not hitching a ride to sit on anybodies lap ahahah. I try to stay away from real life sausage factories at all costs.

While some casinos do allow their employees to gamble in the establishment where they work, Harrah's does not. I worked for Harrah's in Tunica MS about 5 years ago. Their benefits weren't bad then, I'm not sure if it's till the same or not. Not saying that you need to worry, but they do a hair follicle drug test prior to being hired. Not implying anything, just a heads up.

Thanks for the nice reply and the information. I think it is still a really good place to work. I should hear back in the next day or two.

Also, I'm not a weed man myself, really don't drink all that much either. So I'll be in the clear there.

Thanks. I just sent TheJudge an e-mail. It would be a great opportunity should anything come from it and if not I continue to press on.

By the way whats this about a golf outing? How come I wasn't invited, lol? I know read the sticky's:violin:

Not knocking ya bud but i don't understand how u typed that u want to possibly work for an overseas book and then u say u like to be doing something like Judged does. Then someone has to give u advice to contact Judge. I was thinking of telling ya to email Judge and see if he has some advice and here u knew judge all along. Maybe i read it wrong. Whatever good luck anyway.

Thanks for the comment. I never said I wanted to work for an overseas book. I said I would like to be where TheJudge is somewhere down the line. The whole point of the post was that I had an interview with Horseshoe Casino and was curious if people had advice about working in the gaming industry. I've sent my resume out to other/non gaming related businesses as well.

I was open to comments and/or opinions about the gaming industry. One suggested why not just emailing Judge to see if he had anything and I took that under consideration and I did send an e-mail to TheJudge but never heard back anything as of yet but this is a busy time.

Alright out for a jog. Have a good night

The sportsbooks down there love having English speaking operators.

I have a good friend that manages one in Costa Rica.

Dawgball if I could shoot you my resume I'd really appreciate it.

I've got a 2nd interview tomorrow at the Shoe. It is so weird going through this process when I m so used to be in my home office doing my thing.

Fingers crossed on my both

Plan on starting out at about $5 an hour in Costa Rica, if you're sharp.

Why would you give up a successful business you have at home?

MJ,

I had two merchants in the past 3 months that when it came time to collect didn't pay up. In the last 2 years I've never had that happen but it was for a decent junk of change. I need to make sure finances are stable but you are probably right about offshore. Leave for my interview in a couple of hours.
