Don't know why I posted that "something interesting" thang.. prob. doesn't interest anybody but me. Guess I was hoping maybe Hamster may have remembered that horse and caught that one.. no such luck I guess. Well, forget about it .. on to today's waces...

Don't care much for the ones I'm coming up with (favorites and horses I ain't too familiar with) but it is "lucky" Tues so here goes -

2nd race: zacks 3,5 top/bot w. 2,7. I'm on those but the no. 2 and 7 are prices and maybe just picking one to play straight might not be a bad idea instead.

3rd race: I'm coming up with no. 7, a dang favorite. In an attempt to hit something worthwhile - I got 1,3,5,6 as exacta mates for it.

7th race: Something good just may come out of this race. That there no. 7, Mistycal Light @ 10-1, is a wire to wire threat anytime it runs. I threw moola away a few time before when trying to time this one and I've also caught a couple of nice payoffs doing the same with this one. He ain't the same hoss he used to be but I think he may have it easy on the front end in this race and I don't believe he's run for this low claiming price ever. I'll have exactas with him and also small straight across on this one.
Now, IF you wanna take the other route (a closer), then take a look at no. 5, Even Frisky (6-1). This one should be smokin down the stretch. I'm also going with this one in zactas (using fewer horses with Frisky) and also some Win or W/Pl action with this one as well.

9th race: The zacks for this one are 1,5 t/b with 6,7. Also, no. 2 t/b with 1,6. Thems are great exacta combos BTW. I got a hunch about playing some TRIfectas, using the above nos. as well. I'm gonna take a good look at the 1,5,and 7 for a straight bet for this race. Each one should be a decent price and maybe I can find the right one among those 3.

OH, most impotent about this race - IF they do FINALLY decide to actually run a race (this one) on the grass, that pretty much makes this 9th race a no play. Methinks that the fav. (no. 6) just may have too much of an edge on these on the turf.. Owner, trainer and HOSS are all good. It's likely that they will scratch the bastage if this race gets taken off the turf and that would be a good thing.

BTW, looks like it's koz, Hammy, and me. Sure hope some folks come outa the woodwork for the Belmont (I just might dig into the woodwork for the Belmont the way I've been doing with the Triple Crown races this year. LOL Whatever the case - I won't be having "ANOTHER ONE").

UT.. almost forgots... . DO check out the no. 10 hoss in the 7th. Sorry bout this, but IF that one looks good in the prerace, maybe a few bucks someway or another with that one. His morning line is 20-1 so you don't need to put down much. IF he just looks like a regular Philly Park dirt bomb, just forget this part.

Jim,
Good to see you back after a layoff. Freshens the brains cells so they can work more synaptically.
Missed that horse also. I thought that I placed him on my radar list.

Wrap up

Wrap up

Damn, woulda felt better if at least you got it; you can imagine how I felt when I turned my official Dirt Bomb Data notebook back to May 14 and see on the bottom of my page, " Follow... Pal Petey and Mine for Love ", yeah it was in red ink! Very few pages have anything written on the bottom too. :00x25

On a brighter note... TODAY :)

No need to post anymore races at the point when you(I hope)/me are this far ahead.

Just..

- lookem up

-report to your nearest cashier window

and...

GIT DAT CASH :)

GOOD LUCK, Hammy and hopefully you have a bit of a winning streak started.

Well, even the 9th added some icing (GOOD OLE "6-2 or 2-6" combo). Woulda been nice if the no. 2 beat the no. 6 but, since the race was REALLY :)0039) run on the turf.. I doubled up on zactas with the no. 6 on top.

If you (er.. ANYbody) is interested in betting the 10 chime in cause I did finish handicapping the last race.

Think I'm done doing real betting for today.. usually my consecutive winning streaks don't last as long as today's before I start giving some (only a little though cause I cut back after getting well ahead) back.

Always smart money management to stop (or leave) when your ahead. Most don't. Missed your post earlier today. Had to entertain the baby and she fussed all day so apparently I wasn't amusing enough. As always thanks for post. :0074

... and thanks for your continual, timely posts too, Koz. Hope you find something good for the Belmont.

I gotta agree that's it's probably natural to "bet with their moola" ESP. when you're pretty far ahead. That's a :nono:

You know that there song, ".. know when to holdem, .. know when to foldem.. know when to walk away.. know when to run" ♪ ♪ ♫ ♪

That last (10th) today was a good example. There were only 3 contenders in that race and they WERE the 3 favorites too. Not a good race to play ANY time. I had those 3 marked (like everybody else) and probably woulda went with the longest shot of the 3 and he won it. Doesn't matter though.

Hmm.. if anybody here ever watches "American Greed" (think it's on CNBC or MSNBC?) ... moral of the story is DON'T DO IT!.

Kinda funny stuff

I finally actually read some guidelines on the "Smiles" screen that MJ provides... "

"If you want to disable smilies in a post that you make, you can select the 'Disable Smilies' option when posting. This is particularly useful if you are posting program code and you do not want ;) converted to a smilie face!"

Hmm. Nice of MJ to give us credit for knowing about that STUFF... er, "posting program code"(HuH ?) YIKES, I got enough of a headache figuring out how to post my picture inserts correctly :(

good luck with them hosses, koz and MJers...
