Don't know why I posted that "something interesting" thang.. prob. doesn't interest anybody but me. Guess I was hoping maybe Hamster may have remembered that horse and caught that one.. no such luck I guess. Well, forget about it .. on to today's waces...
Don't care much for the ones I'm coming up with (favorites and horses I ain't too familiar with) but it is "lucky" Tues so here goes -
2nd race: zacks 3,5 top/bot w. 2,7. I'm on those but the no. 2 and 7 are prices and maybe just picking one to play straight might not be a bad idea instead.
3rd race: I'm coming up with no. 7, a dang favorite. In an attempt to hit something worthwhile - I got 1,3,5,6 as exacta mates for it.
7th race: Something good just may come out of this race. That there no. 7, Mistycal Light @ 10-1, is a wire to wire threat anytime it runs. I threw moola away a few time before when trying to time this one and I've also caught a couple of nice payoffs doing the same with this one. He ain't the same hoss he used to be but I think he may have it easy on the front end in this race and I don't believe he's run for this low claiming price ever. I'll have exactas with him and also small straight across on this one.
Now, IF you wanna take the other route (a closer), then take a look at no. 5, Even Frisky (6-1). This one should be smokin down the stretch. I'm also going with this one in zactas (using fewer horses with Frisky) and also some Win or W/Pl action with this one as well.
9th race: The zacks for this one are 1,5 t/b with 6,7. Also, no. 2 t/b with 1,6. Thems are great exacta combos BTW. I got a hunch about playing some TRIfectas, using the above nos. as well. I'm gonna take a good look at the 1,5,and 7 for a straight bet for this race. Each one should be a decent price and maybe I can find the right one among those 3.
OH, most impotent about this race - IF they do FINALLY decide to actually run a race (this one) on the grass, that pretty much makes this 9th race a no play. Methinks that the fav. (no. 6) just may have too much of an edge on these on the turf.. Owner, trainer and HOSS are all good. It's likely that they will scratch the bastage if this race gets taken off the turf and that would be a good thing.
BTW, looks like it's koz, Hammy, and me. Sure hope some folks come outa the woodwork for the Belmont (I just might dig into the woodwork for the Belmont the way I've been doing with the Triple Crown races this year. LOL Whatever the case - I won't be having "ANOTHER ONE").
