Also I'm almost positive that the man who had cancer in this episode was the person who does the narrative of "seven souls" ..it was in the opening sequence in the first episode of this season.

Hal Holbrook. Good actor. Remember him in "Wallstreet"?

Favorite quote of this episode was when someone was telling tony how dinosaures lived at the same time with humans, and he says:

"LIKE THE FLINSTONES?"

"the bunker"
one of the best episodes in memory,imo.....

after 2 shitty ones to start the season, the last 2 have gotten back on track....

obviously knew tony was the fulcrum....but,he literally drives the show.....

with him back, the show `s humming...

the contradiction between tony`s new found revelation about life....and his continuing brutality is great stuff...

i guess the slow start is now paying off...

The rapper said he had 50 G's bet on a boxing at match at Pinnacle.
Good advertising.

Tony told him he could get better juice with one of his guys. :)

When he set the gun down by his bed, I started thinking the same thing. That bastard better not kill himself. It needs to go down from one of the guys.

It seemed a lot of the episode was about defending one's "manhood". Vito at least looks like he's going to kill himself since he likes ****, Johnny is mocked because he cried when getting hauled off at his own daughter's wedding, and Tony decides to pick a fight on BS pretenses with the ripped young dude to show how much of a "man" he is.

I agree the show was trying to defend manhood. I think the fight was somewhat staged. I do have a couple of questions. Is Johnny ever going to get out, and will Phil get whacked because he mocked Johnny for crying. I like the fact that Tony did step up and kick his ass. I think the show goes back to what we all liked, Tony killing a couple of people a week because he wants to.

Also was thinking the fight between tony and driver was staged,We should see tony shuffle some clams over to him this week for being his punching bag,You gotta figure even though they portray the kid as a hothead is he gonna be a chucklehead an attempt to knock out the boss? :nono: forgetabodit

Vito dressed up like the guy from Village People was classic. laughed my ass off. I think he tries to whack Sal and his buddy before they snitch him out.

I can see Junior having some classic lines coming up dealing with his new housemates.

The best thing about the Sopranos is that even a bad episode is better then anything else going on the tube.

I don't think the fight was staged. Judging by the smile on Tony's face at the end, he was pretty proud of himself.
