Thank you for posting this....ESPECIALLY the defense is "too old" angle!! To me...IMO...I am soo friggin tired of hearing it!! I am not a PITT fan...I like them and respect Rooneys, Tomlin and their operation....but they are not my team...but still drives me absolutely crazy!! Just because fat Warren Sapp makes a comment on Showtime week#1 and some experts dicsuss their age...everyone feels they know Pittsburgh woes are based of how old is their defense?? :mj07: :mj07: Stats speak for themselves folks! :nono:
The truth of the matter is that when an NFL team has so much success year after year....they get to a point where they want the regular season to end and the post season/real season..to begin. These teams know how important each game is....don't think for one second they don't. They know it is about W's and L's and how important W's are when you add them up at the end. Pittsburgh is 100% thinking about the next two games after this game.....100% NO DOUBT ABOUT IT....and that is why they know they need to win this game in case they struggle the next two weeks. Lets also not forget that they play a much improved Cincy team in 3 weeks...a divisional very important game as well. ! If they want to get to the post season...they know they need this W. You also don't think Pitt coaches want this game?? Want to show Rooney's why they have them instead of KW and staff he pulled from Pitt. Trust me...just as much as ARZ coaches want a W....Pitt coaches will want/demand the same thing. Oh yeah, their will be plenty of Pitt fans in black n gold! :0074

"Older"/EXPERIENCED teams are not going to care about being in AZ for one night.... business trip...and team with veteran leaders will follow Tomlins business trip mind set. Not they typical NFL team here...

Just giving my opinion on this discussion.....I by no means am saying Pitt is a "lock" or going to win the game...as the ball bounces in funny ways......but to think for one second Pitt backers is a "sucker/joe public" play needs to check themselves....there is no guarantee of anything in the NFL. :nono:
In conclusion....play your gut, "THINK" about your plays and reason why you like the game, trust it...and fire!! Sometimes you get bulls eyes and sometimes you cant event the target...but own your own play!
Right or wrong..... I probably will have a regular 2x play on Pitt in this game for all the reasons I mentioned above! Win or loose...just the way I see it! :0003

How am I "hater." and on who? Of course I am upset i was dead wrong on the game. It isn't the first time and certainly won't be the last. Like you mentioned in another post, I didn't come away overly impressed with Pittsburgh at all. I just took it that Arizona is actually that bad and shit the bed in a huge game.
I stick to my opinion that Pitt is way overrated and will be exposed at some point this season (hopefully this week. I am on the Pats already).
With the new iPhone app, it's easy for me to throw out quick comments, like "they blow." but the reality is I still believe this team is just not that good. And I do believe that Joe Public does think they are that good. Thus, an opportunity for me to make money if I am right.

Both teams appear on paper to be able to score on the other team's D. O/U set at 52. A total on a Steelers game hasn't been that high since Jan. '96 in the Super Bowl that year vs. the Cowboys.
I only called you a hater because of your Pitt blows comment. I'm not sure what games your watching but I'm pretty sure they don't "blow". Their defense and offensive line played like dogshit the 1st few weeks but they are sitting at 5-2 right now. Like I said before, the next 3 weeks will define their season. If they tank and lose all 3 then ya, their done. Until then, the jury is out.
