GOOD NEWS OUT FOR COGT, I am accumulating under $14.10, (disclaimer, I own 600 shares)

In an increasingly unsafe world littered with terrorism, biometric verification or the use of a person's unique physical characteristics for identification purposes -- is becoming predominant. Although the gloomy economic climate is forcing governments worldwide to pare back expenses, the budget cuts are least likely to affect spending on national security. Au contraire, governments are likely to step up security spending, benefiting players like Cogent Inc. (COGT: News ) that make automatic fingerprint-identification systems.

Buttressed by government contracts, Cogent has defied the economic gloom and may see new heights with president-elect Obama's promises to strengthen homeland security spending. As one of the few companies to sport a nearly 200% earnings growth in the most recently ended quarter despite the recession, Cogent makes an interesting study for investors.

if you guys like stem take a look at HGSI. It has such an upside to me. If obama gets in it should rally a little bit.

What do you guys think?

Sub $40 oil screams a buy on DXO.

If it hits 2.50, the last 20% of cash I have will be going in.

Then I'll lose all the fun of buying and selling. :)
