Rodgers is slow and has gassed quickly in every fight I have seen...I don't think he can do anything Saturday....but who knows....I would be shocked...

As for Carwin/Rogers comparison then how is it off? Because Carwin fights in the UFC?
Who has Carwin beat? One person Gonzaga and Gonzaga was getting the better of him until 1 punch.
I like Carwin alot and know he is better than Rogers from sight, but on paper he is no different.
Each have few quality wins,each are unbeaten,each rely on that one big punch to beat an opponent, each are heavyweights.
Carwin has more muscle ton and clearly better upper body strength but we have really yet to see him need to use it.

And Carwin will beat Brock (if fight happens). Fedor is fighting another guy that isn't very good. It is just that simple.

I'd take all these guys against Fedor....all of em:

Carwin, Dos Santos, Lesner, Couture, Velasquez, and Mir

How do you know that as his fights have NEVER made it out of the 1st round.
I agree that Rogers is going to gas and gas fast but it is just opinion that Carwin is better as he has no quality wins to back that up. In fact he was taking a pretty good beating in his one quality fight before one big punch.

As for taking those 6 fighters to beat Fedor then you would have 6 losers.

But here is the good news, you would be getting 3-1 odds or better in every one.

Arlovski was toying with him and then got put to sleep with one punch, so you can think AA was doing well but I saw him on his back and he didn't look too good to me. Fedor seems to feel everyone out except for Tim Silvia who he blasted in no time.

This fight won't go to the ground because Fedor likes to beat people at their own game. I think it's his way of proving he's better than them.

This fight will be much better than most think. Anytime there's a legit striker in the fight, I think you give that guy a punchers chance.

Have we seen enough of Rogers fights to really say that he's terrible on the ground or that he doesn't have a gas tank? I don't...

I'm getting pretty pumped for this fight card. I think one of the big reasons is because I love to watch Fedor fight and I'm also looking forward to what Mousasi will do.

The other fights are actually good fights and shouldn't be too one sided. Miller winning would be big but I don't see it happening. Silva vs Werdum could be a good fight as well.

i don't understand Kicks logic anymore. He acts like Fedor is dodging everyone. Why don't any of those top guys in the ufc let their contract run out if they were so dying to fight Fedor? :shrug: Seems simple to me. They can see if they are the best. You know Strikeforce would pay them big time also. So kick why doesn't Carwin just fight out his contract and run over to Strikeforce and fight Fedor? All these guys in the ufc have that option when their contract runs out. Why don't they go test themselves like you want Fedor to come to the UFC and test himself? The only one who even came close to having these kind of balls was Randy. It is not Carwin or Brock who have been annoited the baddest man on the planet. It is Fedor. Fedor doesn't have to do shit if he doesn't want to. The UFC guys are the ones who need to prove themselves and step up like Randy tried. I never see Mayweather fighting on others boxers terms. They fight to Mayweathers. Maybe if Dana leaves the UFC and joins strikeforce then Kick will have a change of heart.
