thadchr,

nothing to do with any post you have ever made.

saw a chance to combine your questions about tools with a long standing function listed in the tools.

probably should have worded it differently so as not to offend..

another one of my attemps to be a Kosar or Smurphy only for the slick and sly wit to fail..

I can't type worth a ding dong..

a one finger typer trying to go fast ..I make alot of mistakes..hell here lately an alarming amount to be truthful..

the idea of the spell check is to allow me and others to make the message at least readable without having to stop and cut and paste it elsewhere for the check ..Then cut and paste the amended text back to the MJ board..

seems so much easier to use a function that I assume is already a part of the software.

thanks for the help IE..

not trying to stir the pot..

Thanks for clearing that up Old School. :0008

Do you mind if I get your e-mail from the Admins, since PMs are disabled now?

Anything new?

Anything new?

I realize this thread is pretty old, but I was just about to ask one of these same questions and then had a moment of d?j? vu... and thus found this thread.

My main question was still the one I asked in the original post. (Perhaps the software has been updated and this is now possible?) But, I also had a couple other questions--namely about the point of buddy lists and how to re-access saved searches--that I'd appreciate answered as well.

You can't subscribe to a specific poster.

I don't have any idea about saved searches.

I'm not sure about the Saved Search Preference either, but here's a possible work-around

Using your buddy list you can.

1. Open your buddy list and click the icon to the left the members name that you would like to see posts from.

That opens up their Profile.

2. Click
Find all posts by (User)
Find all threads started by (User)

That will open up the threads or posts in Chronological order, showing you the newest posts first.

Disappointing answer to question #1, but I figured. Thanks for the quick response Jack.

Anyone on the others?
