Not, yet.. but I really wanted to put my opening round tennis picks here for the horse racing fans. It's just too long and against the rules I think. :(
Wimbledon is the Kentucky Derby for tennis

Just wanna let yas know that I gotem in the "Off The Wall' place (YUCKie).

Bright and early, there should something here for the Philly Park "action" today. Gotta think they'll be at least one playable race today.

Ok, sorry about the false alarm. Just wishful thinking maybe that somebody in this forum has an interest in tennis.

Never got to see my best bet do NUTHIN yesterday. He did nothing alright.. got scwatched. I think about half of my action yesterday got scwatched dang it.

Don't know whose been in here, as usual, so I think I'll post a race that has hugh, and I mean HUGE price potential, ESP exotics. I think playing this race even though it's extremely hard to cap is worthwhile on account of the price potential.

6th race: Most exciting race of the 3 playables today has some horses that have done pretty good on the turf but are not in form. I like no. 7, Ourpetey , who has a bit of form and a bit of being able to handle the grass. Right now, I'll be using nos. 1,2,9,12 with this one. I'll also play the no.7 straight. I'll have to see them before making some side, straight play(s) and the ones I'll be looking for are the 2,7(don't wanna see this one win and not hit the exacta), and 12.

Good luck MJers.

GL Jim,
Hopefully Arepeatee's current form and dropping in class will get that 6 year old to the winner's circle.

exacta potentials 7,8/ 4,5,6,7,8

Wrap up

Wrap up

Thanks, Hammy. I hope you covered the play with a Win bet on good ole Petey. :)

Only $8 stinkin dollars to Win on Petey for me; I'm feeling like a real GRINDER not even putting an even 10 on it. :00x31

Yeah, it covered the exactas and enough profit to make that race pretty well worth it. But that's not what I'm gonna remember about this race. (Look the other way now, HAMMY)...

What about missing the DANG zacta right at the freakin wire ->SON - a -mah-BEEECH!!!. That was the kind of exacta we/me was looking for. Sure looked like that no. 9 had it wrapped up for 2nd place. The no. 9, which I had in the zacta under Petey, went off at 15 to 1. That bastage, no. 10 who nipped my 9, went off at 19 to 1.

ZACTA paid $401.80. Well, I DID get the "huge PAYOFF for this race" part right :)

Good enough day though.. .my zacks finished 1st and 3rd in the 4th :(

My across the board play in the 5th (no. 8, W/Pl/Sh@2x) paid off very well ($11.40 to place); that was very nice. At least I use 5 dollar (or multiples of 5 dollar bills) bills for straight bets. OF COURSE my 3 zactas in that race DIDN'T have the 5/2 no. 1 in them. Oh well.

Overall, not a bad day today, Hamsterino.

As usual, BEST of luck to ya.

MONDAY

MONDAY

I know that you know where to find this, Failthful Replier :)

Gotta mention that yesterdays wiener, Petey, was the top rated horse in that race . The way I wrote it up it looked like it was a personal pick. He was but so were too many others in that race. Still thinking about getting nipped out of BIG, FAT, JUICY, Philly style exacta in that one.

Not gonna write much about today's card; don't see a good race for the Philly BOMBERS today. In fact, I think there may be plenty of so/so or even smaller payoffs today.

Don't get fooled by that 8th race cause the favorite is too tough IMO.

Only 3 playable races today. Here's my thoughts on one of them. Anybody interested in another race, just chime in cause writing them to myself is kinda silly since I already know who thems are LOL

I don't know right now when I'll be back today anyway.

7th race; Real simple --- I think this wace belongs to either the no. 1 or 9 and both have decent enough odds. Only fear I have is the no. 10 which will get played IF it L@@KS good in the prerace.

Good luck
Gotta go cause thems started already

7th race - may be time for a switcheroo.. tellyas, the 9 DOESN'T look so hot and the 10 DOES.

That means, no. 10 just may be the one.

Nothing so far.. well, cept for my comment bout the 8th race - favorite was tough alright; caught the baby zacta, but I didn't expect such a small payoff and it didn't cover the bets :(

Nobody around so I'll hit the MJ exit door. I'll see if there's any L@@KERS in the last race, I guess. Then... some mo tennis :)

BTW, mark down that there "Polka" horse that ran today, it's getting ready to make some noise at Philly. I wrote stuff about this horse in one of my old threads.

final wrap up

final wrap up

I gotta share this... played 3 L@@KERs w/pl, just 2 stinkin dollars.

No. 10 was my TOP rated hoss, but I wasn't interested in a 3/2 shot. The L@@KERs were 3,5,6..
Guess what?... Yep, no. 5 got second place (no. 10 barely hung on to win).

Well, that there no. 5 was 60 to 1 :0
waiting for the prices
.
.
.
Here it is... WOW, $33.20 to place.
It ain't gonna cover the whole day, but it sure did make it only a little band aid day instead of a stitch or 2 :)

I should mention that one trend that Philly has, ESP. in the last race, is a big favorite with a HUGE longshot to complete the exacta. That's what happened today. I didn't go along with that trend mostly cause there was another pretty heavy fav. in this last race which I had rated second. But, I'm gonna keep an eye out to see if this trend continues. Hmmm... look at what the dang zacta paid in the last race but fact is that I really didn't personally care for the no. 10 in the last race even though it had Flores riding.

The Philly (not so weak) weekday$ are up next, Hammy. Thems are usually the days we wait for to Git Dat Cash.

I didn't like the story, deliman... I LUVED IT -

I must have a thousand interesting stories about racetracking, but NOT one like that which is strange. Closest one I got was at Aqueduct - played a number of Daily Doubles all of which had no. 2 in the first race and I knew which ones I had in the second race. Went outside to watch them and saw my no. 2 win the first race.

What do I do... I go to the window and play the only two horses I didn't have going for me in the second race ON TOP of the others in EXACTA bets. Payoffs would have been very nice too. So no matter who wins the second race - I collect.

I didn't bother to check my DD tickets in my pocket. No. 7 wins the second race (on my Daily Double tickets). I remember the Double paid something like $70 - $80. I go in my pocket and - YOU GOTTA BELIEVE this one... that bastage made a mistake on my 2/7 Daily Double, gave me 7/2. ALL THE OTHER TICKETS WERE CORRECT TOO. That is -> that ticket was the ONLY one he screwed up. I lost ALL bets. :(

Betta believe I went to that window and read him the Riot ACT alright. There's nothing they could do about that, but at least I embarrassed the bastage. I do blame myself a bit though cause I was/still am the bettor that runs to the window with less that a minute to post and stick them in my pocket, no time to check tickets.

unfortunately, most of the stories I remember were nightmares.

Sheesh, now ya got me started so I gotta tellya the bestest one I remember...

It's only something I saw happen, didn't participate in it.. but it's a good one.

During my first year in Flal I thought I'd check out JaiAlai (whatever you call it, thems bounce the ball off the wall and you bet on them). Don't remember the exact nos. .. but let's say no 8 won the first game. They post the nos. and put up no. 7 (WRONG NO.) and that paid something like $52 (I DO know the price was close to that) to win and they posted it's payoff. The real winner, No. 8 was 3/1 or 4/1. I go past the tellers and I see people running out the door after visiting the cashiers.... the dummies were paying off on the wrong no. It took them about 4 or 5 minutes to realize what the hell was going on. LMAO.

I was here when Fla. started their lottery ... You wouldn't believe (I was told about it and read about it) how many people GOT AWAY with slicing off some of the nos. or payoff amount on losing scratch offs and very neatly GLUING them on other losing tickets to make them winners and the dummies behind the counters were cashing them. I AIN'T kidding ya. They got away with that for almost the first 3 weeks of the first issuance of scratch offs.

Tellya, deliman.. Fla. is a GREAT place to live, but it IS a Mickey Mouse outfit.

Do stop in "my" (actually no MEMBER owns anything in these forums) thread again, deliman :)
