Anytime someone is against a particular belief, it's far too easy to try and paint them with a broad brush and make them and extremist, unless of course you are a LIB, then you are an activist.
It doesn't matter. The numbers still favor white candidates by a wide margin. And blacks predominantly vote Democrat.
However, if Alan Keyes or Condi Rice were the Republican nominee for President, there would likely be a certain percentage of party switchers among blacks. But those party switchers would most likely be offset and in fact, outnumbered, by Republicans who would refuse to vote for a black candidate, particularly in the South.
