Thought it might be FDC but, I don't think he breaks into the sixties.
When a word like 'and', 'or' and 'but' (called conjunctions) joins two standalone sentences, you should put a comma before it.

Actually the journalism standard is a comma after but, but, I guess that is only if you are writing for a newspaper or magazine and my keen insight tells me the standard for grammar and punctuation is not quite as high in some of these threads.
The AP stylebook probably is the best reference in case you are looking for a standard but, like I said...that really pertains to more formal delivery.

I think you just Bitch slapped him FDC
It won't matter, he won't understand a bit of it anyway.
Maybe I should be flattered that anyone, even he of limited intelligence, would stalk me on an internet forum. I have never had an actual stalker before. Somehow the novelty of it pales when you realize he is of very limited intelligence.

I've had numerous female stalkers. I have 3 PPO going currently...........:SIB
You must dream about me at night as well. The last time I checked I offered to compare educations and intelligence with you any time. You chose not to answer. That was the smartest thing you have ever done.
First of all, it is not the AP style book. Maybe you are trying to sound like you know what the hell you are talking about, however, you failed miserably. If you are speaking about the APA format for writing essays, that is only used for Psychology, Social Sciences, and Educational essays. Research essays are written in MLA Style format, legal essays are generally written in Harvard style format. None one of them have anything whatsoever to do with the placement of commas is academic prose or literary prose. The format styles govern only the essay format as it speaks to page set up and citations. Where you get this bullshit of newspapers putting the comma after the conjunction "but" is absolutely false. In only very rare cases does the comma go after a conjunction, it always precedes the conjunction. Unless the writer is trying to convey a measured pause, the comma never goes after the "but".
Writing styles don't govern the rules of grammar dumbass. There are actual rules of Grammar. Most people open their mouth and others immediately place a dumbass. Strangely enough, you just have to type and the dumbass in you floats directly to the top.
Next time you want to act smart, don't act. Now go get your shine box dumbass, and think again before you question someone of obvious superior intelligence to yourself.
Sorry I couldn't write this in finger paint for you Azboob.
There goes first bell, you better hurry into class little retarded boy.
Hope that helps,
FDC
