i find all of you guys who constantly come on this forum day after day & constantly post the same bnegative garbage cry to be sickening. the country is in a down period, it has happened before & will happen again.

i can understand some of the people posting on this forum crying because they are doomed to failure & have no hope for a prosperous future without the gov't. helping them.

but come on stevie & buddy...you have loving families & you have your health & the capability to earn more money if you choose to....but please, with respect stop your whining it's very depressing reading it day after day after day...instead count your blessings.

stay positive folks...it will get better...i guarantee it...
Al, I aint crying about anything. You obviously think our money is better spent giving it as subsities to oil companies who are making record profits that to help feed a mentally disturb man who is homeless. You see nothing wronh with spending trillions in Iraq while people in our own country go hungry and without medical care. You see nothing wrong with Medical Insurance being sky high, while medical care is going down the tubes. We still have not secured our rails or our borders but I guess that's ok. I pay my bills and i keep my mouth shut about it. At least until some Republican, tax break taking, elitist told me to stop whining and to take care of myself. I do take care of myself and I do it with less help from the Government than most "Business" people do.

Al, you are one of the all time great guys, but you have to open up your eyes to what is happening to the middle class.

stevie my friend....

i have a lot of problems with our gov't.....ie...borders & immigration, how the iraq war has been fought, bailouts for some businesses, etc.... (but i do not want universal health care)...however i don't feel it accomplishes anything to come to this forum day after day year after year to complain about it because there is nothing we can do about it until the respective elections. maybe it's because i was taught to stay positive even in hard times...i don't know...

all i'm saying is that in all of the years that you & some of the others have been here i don't remember seeing any positive posts about our country. surely you see something positive about the u.s......or maybe you don't... (another shrug...lol)....

on 2nd thought...go at it if it makes you feel better.... (a 3rd shrug...lol)...

thanks for the compliment & i want you to know that i have much respect for you...boy football can't get here fast enough...:142smilie

Al, some people just want to vent. It doesn't represent how people might be outside of the forum. I think you put too much emphasis on this "positive" stuff.;)

Al, of course there is a lot of things right with this country. Lawyers for one! Just joking.
But you say to stay positive. Why? I see it as the greatest thing about this country is that when we see something wrong we have not only the right, but the duty to expose or express it. That is the whole point.

Yeah, all the lawyers are liars and cheats, and the big business CEOs are the ones that should be admired in this day and age. Of course many of those folks are reputable and care alot about the general public...:mj07:

I can only speak solidly about one lawyer - my wife. She is without a doubt the most honest person I've ever met, and lives a life worry-free about how she conducts her business, family, and friendships.

I get really tired of the blanket labels that are thrown around here. Most of you being critical of lawyers here probably would have a lot of answering to do about how you've conducted your lives, but what the Hell, why not rip an entire sector of people, just to try to make a point?

Don't think anyone thinks all attorneys are crooks and cheats at all Chad. Don't know your wife but certainly think in knowing you these years you would be correct--

--would say chances are nill that 1st question out of your wifes receptionist is--
-Do they have insurance?
2nd -I've got a doctor I want you to see?
3rd We get 1/3 plus expenses
4th- We'll probably won't have to go to court.

Doubt he runs ads that start
-Have you are a loved one---

Would have been lost without last attorney I had and was worth twice what I paid him.
(Immigration attorney) He got Li's paperwork done and had her here a year before others who did it themselves.

of course people should express themselves if they see a problem or are frustrated...but my question is when does it become redundant ?

murphy said that constant negative posts don't represent how people are in the real world....the more i think about it the more i think how can't it carry over in the real world ? i think for the most part that the way a person posts tells you something about how the person is in real life...

and just for my own edification stevie..would you mind telling me what positives do you see with this country ? i'll understand if you don't want to....

I could pick apart every sentence you have posted in this thread, and all others, but honestly. Is this a typo? "-Have you are a loved one---".....Have you ARE a loved one mentally challenged? Have you ARE a loved one glass half full? Don't worry, be happy, if you ARE a loved one have to pay off a 10 trillion dollar debt to Dubai's Haliburton. Have you ARE an American? maybe a good chinaman, but American? Have you ARE figured out that your language skills cannot match those of my 8 year old nephew?

Al, there are a lot of positives.
First we are allowed to express our opinions. On anything.
We have a great education system. Not as good as it was but still great.
We have a great medical system. Not as good as it was but still great.
We are a caring people. Even most people who disagree on welfare, medicare, any kind if aid, disagree on how it should be handed out. Or on what is best for the people. It is easier for a lot of people to agree with trickle down theory. Even though at these tax rates it is not a viable theory.
Many things great with this country. Post 9-11 alot of these things have been disapearing. The cost of this folly in Iraq is killing us. No attacks on our soil? Of course not. No need to. Sort of bin Ladens version of Stay the course.
Sorry if I am not all giddy.
But Al you call me redundant yet you never call out GW ot DTB for there redunant views.

Believe we had this discussion before Jabbers--

Believe it was wager to provide Jack with SSN #s and run credit check and scores and post yours and mine--believe you were even offered a spot--but somehow never heard from you on subject.

i think for the most part that the way a person posts tells you something about how the person is in real life...

..
.............................................................

Not sure how you define real life.

If a person is coming on here and posting words day after day, you can get a pretty good peg on how that person would be if you meet him/her.

True feelings and beliefs are much more likely to be posted on here, instead of not being said to your face, in the " real world "

And for all that positive talk.

you can take that positive stuff and shove it !:00hour

the sad part is, the few lawyers that are like your wife, do not make the cash that the ones that lie and thieve make.

Al, you say they are not negative but when was the last time they said anything positive about a Democrat? And Lieberman doesn't count.
