Montreal versus Toronto

The next time any madjacker complains about a "bad beat" in sports gambling just think of this game.

For those that did not watch the Montreal game (which is 99% of madjackers). You have to watch the last play of the Montreal/Toronto game.........

Montreal is faved by 4 points and they cover the spread...... You are thinking big deal the final score was 37-30 for Montreal. Well, if you see the final play you will be in shock :scared

if you had Argos plus 4 points that is the worst beat in the history of sports gambling....the absolute worst. There is no worst play I can think of in sports gambling then what happened on that last play.

You will not see a worst beat in all of sports gambling then what happened in last
play of the game....you won't.

Nothing comes close to what happened on last play of the game. Nothing.

Nothing.

Absolutely the fucking worst beat in history of all gambling if you had Argos +4.0

The absolute worst:scared

I can't even describe what happened but I will find the play online and post it. But trust me when I tell you, if you had Toronto at +4.0 you are one unlucky gambler.

1 second left on the clock, game tied at 30-30....Montreal lines up to kick 36 yard FG. They make field goal they win by 3. They miss field goal and kick ball out of endzone they win by one.

They win by 7........you have to see how they did that....UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE:scared

So. Cal
who bets on that crap...looked like a bunch of kids on playground at recess playing kickball

sorry, but nothing beats this one

http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=2968145

to refresh your memory....tie game, extra innings. bottome of the inning and a walkoff, grandslam....single......huh.......for a 4-3 win, and not a 7-3 win.....total was 7.5 (oh, and mets were favored and lost the run line as well because of that move)

you'll never show me another bad beat, as bad as that one.

Have to disagree......I don't know how you can get any worse then the Montreal game.

That was one brutal beat.

Kickball Hot Potato

Yeah, that looks like an odd rule.

What was Toronto's goal there to send it to overtime? Said another way, how could that play have ended where the score was still 30-30?

Balls Deep
Some comments

1. Pretty ridiculous play

2. Anyone who thinks shenanigans like that represents an actual sport needs to have their dome checked (or they need their blue shirt back:sadwave: )

3. To talk in terms of bad beats the amount of money on the line has to come in play. Sure that was a bad beat but if you've got 50 bucks on it, that can't compare with another situation where someone has way more on the line

4. See #2

I was expecting a lot worse.

I guess it's been a while since I've seen a CFL game, because I didn't realize it could just turn into Aussie Rules Football like that once the kick is missed.

Oh, and if you want to get a bunch of Americans on your side, you should probably leave out the part about getting a point for kicking the ball out of the EZ. :142smilie That's a pretty ridiculous rule. BTW, how far back does that EZ go? 20 yards?

FWIW - I think the Leon Lett play years ago was a worse beat than that. Toronto had to get that ball out of the EZ, but Lett tried to jump on a ball that he didn't need to touch.

On the course!
That baseball game is one I will never forget, and neither is this one:

4th 00:00 IL - T. Starghill 38 yd fumble recovery (Mark Hoekstra pass failed), , IL 6 - OS 41

That's the last play of a game from 1997.

I had Illinois catching 40 points in some NASTY weather. Well Ohio St isn't going to run it up in this spot, they just want to get inside, I figure.

They play close to the vest, but get an 80 yrd INT return, and a 40yrd TD run in the second half to help get the game to 41-0. Illinois can't do shit.

The 4th is scoreless, as Ohio St....true to form.....doesn't pile on.

They get the ball back with 1:30 left, and all they have to do is take three knees. I am toast. Well, for some reason, coach decides to pull his starting QB, and trot out Steve Gehlert for the last two snaps.

He hands the ball off the first time, and on the next attempt, with 0:00 on the clock......he goes over the right end and FUMBLES the fucking ball!

Trevor Starghill picks up the pig, and plods 38 yards into paydirt!

41-6, and a cover for yyz!

:mj07:

Good beat for me, but some folks out there had to be steaming!!!!!!!
