Kick is blocked by Jax no one tries to tackle and they run it back for a TD!!!!

Early '90's OU v TX, married at the time. I had wired a phone in the garage close to the refrigerator there full of beer. Found out later when I picked my garage phone up, there was a 'ding' on an inside phone.

Doing things around the house with the wife...she was inside, I was in my/our garage....with my phone. The OU v TX game was about to kick off....

It was unusual for me to not work on a Sat., I co-managed a sports bar at the time with a brother for a brother & partners :mj07:

Placed the call, made the bet...then I found out what I wired my garage phone into....:scared

Before I even hung up, the wife flung open the door and said "I hope you lose that fucking bet":facepalm:

I did. I was beat before kickoff. Don't remember if I took TX or OU....just remember her opening the door....bad beat, bad beat....another loss.

Basketball game a couple years ago in MAC conference. At Buffalo against Bowling Green (I think). Anyways my team was in the dressing room not knowing time was left on clock while it was in their posssesion winning by 2 while being spotted 7. Technical was called. I lose by 8 in overtime. I know some basketball junkie has to remember it.
This year I lost an over in a game which was 45-3 at half. No scoring in 2nd half (over 54)

I lost this game! Was getting updates over the phone, went to OT marked it as a win. Got a call back with the final :facepalm:
