Did you see the Feherty episode recently where he interviewed McCord and they covered the Masters topic?
he made a lot of sense on his backtrack ... it was just like I explained earlier ... he did not have all the information on how it rolled out this morning
Masters peeps TOTALLY blew it from the get go
1. should have had an official in his group and could have been decided before he teed off 16
2. they reviewed it after someone called the CLUBHOUSE and decided he made a correct drop and did not even mention it to Tiger after he finished ... Ridley even admitted they didnt say anything to Tiger because they felt at that time no rule was broken
3. Tiger signs his card not knowing of any controversy
4.Tiger says in his post interview he dropped the ball 2 yards back to hit the same shot {this is the penalty}
5. Many calls come in after this interview calling for penalty and DQ
6. Tiger gets a TEXT that he needs to come in the next morning
7. he totally admits to what he did
8. Rules committee had already decided no DQ because of new rule and then assessed the penalty after meeting with Tiger THIS morning ... not during or after his round when he could have signed his card differently
