Haters gonna hate. Great golfer. His exploits have provided me with a ton of lifelong memories. He cheated on his wife. Big deal, so did 3-4 close friends of mine. He is competitive as hell. So what, MJ is idolized for the same behavior. He is an arrogant mofo. Yep, so was Ali, who is regarded as a living legend despite many questionable decisions along the way.

I would love to see Tiger competitive again. I just find it hilarious that we are fed the old "Tiger is back" line every time he ties his Nikes up and marches to the practice tee on Thursday, only to see him flounder again and again.

I would say that what you do in your personal life does to some degree reflect who you are in the profession you choose. Sure basketball and NFL have many issues and the public tends to overlook them, but golf is different.
I could be wrong here, but I would say that people's view on Tiger would be more sympathy than apathy if he wasn't such fuckstik. I think for me, kids come into play here. What a shit stain father. Fuck Tiger, regardless of skill.

Wow, this makes me feel a lot better about my 85 on Weds. Couldn't do it at Muirfield though with the tougher set up and tees but still...... I doubt if there are more than a couple of guys on here that could bust 100 there. I'm thinking now that Steve Williams must get down on his knees daily to thank God that Tiger canned him.
As Jack said, I don't hate the guy, he's been great for the tour and golf in general. It amazes me to see how many people revel in his downfall.
