you can see the obvious double standard here.....rory mcilroy gets all kinds of positive publicity for dropping one tee shot into some guy`s pants....woods gets all kinds of grief for dropping his woods in multiple women`s pants....

I agree with your earlier statement regarding Tiger, but what does this video have to do with him, was it his birthday party:shrug:

Would you agree that golf has a higher standard than any other sport?

Isn't that why they call it a gentleman's game?

I would say that what you do in your personal life does to some degree reflect who you are in the profession you choose. Sure basketball and NFL have many issues and the public tends to overlook them, but golf is different.

I could be wrong here, but I would say that people's view on Tiger would be more sympathy than apathy if he wasn't such fuckstik. I think for me, kids come into play here. What a shit stain father. Fuck Tiger, regardless of skill.

it was call gentleman's game as back in the day they didnt allow females or blacks ..

golf = Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden ,,

yep.

Jack Nicklaus was my golf hero growing up. I don't hate Tiger but I didn't want him breaking Nicklaus' records either. Now I find it fun rooting against him. Different strokes.... :0008

yeah, I don't want woods to break Jack's record either, but I have been a fan of Tiger all along.

I'm a fan of great story lines, so I'd like to see him turn it around and make a push for the record. I think Tiger is a dick, but he makes things a lot more interesting when he's in contention.

That's true for me. I find I watch a lot more than just the majors when he's playing well.

People root against Tiger because he was and is an arrogant prick and got his comeuppance. Sure, there are womanizers in every sport and they don't take the heat Tiger does but it's mostly because they didn't make a living off the holier than though almighty righteous card like Tiger did all of those years.

Not a fan of his arrogance and superiority complex but do very much appreciate his athletic abilities. He seems like the proverbial tennis kid from the wealthy burbs, eat, sleep, live golf your entire life then burn out. I mean for christs sakes, the little twerp was on the tonight show when he was like five years old swinging a golf club.

It is interesting to me how it all seemed to fall apart for woods after his father died. no longer that controlling influence in his life. if I recall correctly papa woods also had issues with keeping his club inside his bag.

apple doesn't fall far from the tree. not making a judgment rather an observation. I think daddys death had a much broader effect on tiger than he even knows.
