I talk with lots of people on here and have met several. Why is it so bad to talk to Kelly too? Pretty amusing. And by the way Kelly, my wife says hi too. Juveniles

I said I would search first. Tell Sam hello and hope you had fun in Winnipeg. :toast:

By all accounts Bart is an awesome guy. I appreciate him and the other guys who treat me just like any other poster, with respect and courtesy. A lesson that could be learned by some others on here.:toast:

Home Depot would not be my first choice. See if there is a top quality tile and stone emporium with a showroom in town. They usually cater to the high end clients (architects and designers) and have the connections with the best tile contractors.

glad you are feeling better ;)

okay here is the best advice i can give. They sell books about this topic in all home depots. What is good about it is you don't have to buy i big book with a million things in it. U will specifically find a book about tiling. Now what i would do is find the center of the room and snap some lines. do a dry run so u don't end up with a little piece against a cabinet or some object like that. If that happens u adjust it one way or the other. Now go rent a tile saw at ur local rent a center. Mix ur stuff and set ur tiles. Don't use white mortar in a bathoroom because if u have a father like mine the white will turn to pissy yellow. My father needed to have his urine tested the other day so i just set up a cup five inches in front of the toliet and gave it to him when he left my house. :sadwave:

Kelly, I know a guy here in the Dallas area that does tile. He does it for pretty cheap. He just finished renovating a home in Highland Village last week so I know he's not doing anything right now. Let me know if you want him to give you a price.

For Kelly i thought this was the best advice
